How well do you like it? I went to their website and the thought of a 'collapsable desk' appeals to me as mine takes up too much room... I've even given thought to building the desk into shelves on the wall...

It's very sturdy, comfortable for typing, has great cable management, and saves major space in my small apartment. On rare occasions, I wish it had more space to accommodate open books and side by side documents. Otherwise, I can't imagine a better desk for my needs.

My issue is that I have too much stuff on my desk most of the time. It'll be better when I get an Air, but there will almost always be two computers on my desk at all times. I do my writing on my MacBook and do most everything else on the Mini.

The main surface of my desk now is 35"x24" and it never seems like enough... Plus there are too many wires... Need to get the BT keyboard and trackpad (or mouse...)

Did you have the yellow version of that desk before, and switched to red? I know I've seen your setup before, and as always, it looks great. :)

Thanks! No change in desk color (yet), just the new MacBook Air and soundbar. Ordered a BulletTrain Express Keyboard Platform, will post pics whenever it gets here.

How is that soundbar? I dont have the right floor plan to have a 5.1 system, and Ive thought of getting a sound bar, but Im hesitant because I havent heard that many good things about them.

This soundbar is decent compromise if you don't have space for a 5.1 system. My place is tiny and the sound fills the room at low volumes and overwhelms the apartment at high volumes without any muddiness. The soundbar's 9 speakers produce clear lows, mids, and highs with clear channel separation but they don't really simulate sound "behind" me. Unfortunately it doesn't have HDMI inputs, so I use optical inputs to connect my satellite box and Apple TV.

+1 for the OG Gameboy. Do you still play it and what's in there at the moment?

:apple:

Yep, still play it, though I use it (and another) to make chipmusic with a cart called LSDJ. If you fancy a listen, here's my latest

Here's both of them running the LSDJ tracker. Apart from the cartridge I added another 3.5mm output (they call it the 'pro-sound mod') that bypasses some degrading circuitry and swapped some buttons/added a red concave NES Controller button to each.

(OT I know. Sorry.)

Yeah, I've heard of LSDJ, I quite like some chip tunes. Awesome piece you've done there, do you have links to any others please?

I did wonder why one of the buttons was darker in the original picture. Nice mods you've done.

Sold my iMac today, and since I am going on a cruise this weekend, not getting a replacement for awhile... So in the mean time, I downgraded to this:

The NES's power light is on, not sure why the cam didn't pick it up. There is an atom board (single core (yuck)) in it running 10.6.2 :D

Very cool~

This maybe kind of off topic, But I think it would be cool if someone could mod an old gameboy and put a hard drive in it, It'd make a pretty cool external backup drive in my opinion.
