I haven't changed much except for the first time since owning my MP it is not on the floor. I thought I'd see how long it took for the bulk of the tower to drive me up a wall. Good thing is the little windows box I have for work is now on the floor (kinda). Oh and I cleaned it, usually there is a hefty stack of paperwork to the left of me in front of the dual monitors.

Looks very nice. Open and airy appearance, despite the heavy hardware on the desks. Also, it's obvious that actual work is getting done, rather than an alter to Apple. That in itself is refreshing. :)

An altar to Apple, I like that. No, I haven't the space, desire, or time to really keep things laying around preventing actual work from getting done. I appreciate that the office still looks open and airy despite the hardware. I spent a great deal of time and effort re-doing the room when I bought the place. I can't wait to tear it all up again and lay hardwood floors though. I think that will bring it up a few notches.

haha Normally, I would not buy a mug that didn't comfortably hold 12 oz of coffee and room for a splash of cream but this just spoke to me, you know?

Here's a much better picture of my setup during study time. My Craigslist iMac is humming along perfectly! And Jessica, why don't you replace that old white Apple keyboard? Those things are horrible to type on! There are plenty of inexpensive alternatives out there, and you can use OSX to swap the location of the Command and Control keys.

I'm curious: what is driving the dual 23" (?) monitors, and what is driving the 30" ACD?

Nice setup... I wish I had enough space for a corner desk... then I might be able to do more than just play on the computer at my desk

It's dual 20"s and it's an old shuttle PC from a long long time ago (I bought here). It's my work machine. While they supply me with a better spec'd laptop, it is riddled with some bugs because they take a new machine, image the old drive and it stalls with simple tasks.

The 30" was purchased and driven by a PowerBook 1.67 gHz, rev D I think, until I got the MP which is a octo-core 2.8 Xeon.

I have no choice, I need room to work and oddly my company is paperless but I go through 10 reams of paper every 3 months.

No more PowerBook. Love the new Mac Mini, I would put in an SSD, but they're still too expensive, and I really don't need one. Its extremely quiet anyway.

Stock Mac Mini 2.4ghz + 4gb of RAM (Crucial off Newegg)
20" Cinema Display (I'm going to mount that powerbrick behind the desk, I hate looking at it)
Bose Companion 2 speakers
64gb iPad WiFi
160gb iPod Classic

Like the old desk with the awesome Mac setup! The desk I use for my iMac is an old desk of my grandfather's. Part of me wanted something a little more modern, but I love the desk and the size and height work well for me.

I still love those iMac G4s a hell of a lot. Shame I need more processing power than that these days.

You know, that is one thing I love about the iMac. Not a wire in sight, a nice clean appearance, and the worlds best looking computer.

:)
