Apart from the iMac Intel and CRT iMac/eMac and G4/450, yes I have. (I had those, but since I needed some desk to work, I had to send them home, which is a shame, and I had to send the G4/450 home as it was replaced by my MDD, but at 1 point I did have the lot in here, Its a shame I didnt take a picture then really.) My Dorm room does currently have 10 Macs in it out of the 14 I have though  If there was enough space in the car Id have the lot here still, as I couldve piled up the eMac and iMac at the end of my bed, and had the iMac Intel on my bedside table, would make it slightly harder to move around though...

Nothing wrong with an eMac, welcome to the light side! :)

I love the eMac! Used to have one, loved it. Think of it this way - you have a more unique Mac because there's not as many around now.

I can think of something much better to take to the beach.

eMac's are great machines. I owned one for 4 1/2 years and it never once let me down.

Thanks folks!
I bought this one for £80 from my older brother...
I already have two self-built gaming rigs that i put a lot of blood sweat, tears and wonga into aswell as my Sony Viao.
But seriously, I really am growing very fond of my eMac very rapidly! ( Only had it for like 4 days )
I'm finding Mac OSX as I get used to it, Much better than windows in all its forms.
The machine itself just feels better, More robust, sleeker, Better thought out, Quicker ( which is a surprize on the mac hardware vs windows hardware front ) and even down to the apps and peripherals, Installing etc...
* Stands up *
" My name is Paul, I am a Mac convert, And Proud of it! " lol.

I'm sorry, but what is the need for all of those machines? 3 laptops, 2 towers. And you're in a dorm? What do you do at uni that requires that much overkill. Not to mention the 27" cinema display. Your whole set up would cost as much as year or more in school.

May I inquire as to how this MacBook is headless? I thought the antennas for the Airport were in the display somewhere...

They are in the display assembly (they are the LCD mounting brackets...). The display stopped working, so I just put the display assembly aside for spare parts. I took the airport antennas out of it, but it was just a hassle keeping them there (plus they are ugly). I disconnected the airport antennas from the airport card, and just have it plugged into ethernet...

Edit: forgot to mention I have it set up with my external display...

Ok. sounds like what did to my wife's Dell. She doesn't need the display and she will get 8 hours on a fully charged, brand new battery.

how's the bass on those? i'm in need of some new speakers too and i can't make up my mind whether or not i want to buy a subwoofer. i loveee bass but i like the AV40s.

The bass is pretty impressive for 40 watts. I listen to mostly hip hop and the bass was awesome and not overbearing. Best 2.0 speakers I've ever owned so far.

As for the guy with like 10 Macs in his dorm: He does it because he can. Simple explanation. :D
Simple and Correct :D - Although it helps I didnt buy the lot in 1 go...

Hopefully you pay a standard fee for electricity and not the actual consumption. :D
