Much respect for still using PPC products today. They're not exactly getting much love from Apple or even third parties for that matter, yet somehow you're still capable of using them as day-to-day machines. Suddenly I feel guilty for finally trading in my 2006 MBP for a rMBP.

How's the glare? I saw one in-store, and it looked better than a regular MBP, but still not brilliant if I'm honest. How is it in real-world situations? Taken it outside yet?

Either way, can't wait to get mine. But I have to wait for the in-store pickup option to become available for non-obvious reasons. So probably a month or so

It is brilliant. Chrome updated their software to a beta version which is prefect for the Retina Display. Crystal Clear!

I don't use it outside so haven't really had that issue. But using it right now with a light on behind me and can't see a bit of glare.

No buyers regret.

Hi all,

I've showed mine many many times in the past but I figured since my MacBook Pro 15" had it's logic board replaced today (under Apple Care <-- second time!) , why not again?

What you see:

- MacBook Pro 2.2Ghz Quad i7 Crucial M4 256GB 16GB late 2011 Anti-glare high res
- Thunderbolt Display
- Time Capsule
- Hercules XPS101 speakerset
- Black MacBook (which is hiding underneath the screen). In perfect condition, nothing on it. It has white keys and a white bezel around the screen. Looks awesome in real life.

Forgot: 'new' iPad 32GB + 4G black.

Taken with iPhone 4S.

Anychance of the wallpaper that's on Ure apple display?

Thanks

how much money do you spend on the crap ?
Surprisingly little. I'm a cheapskate. :D I don't think I paid full price for anything in this room. The desk was $150 delivered. The iMac was a freebie from Apple. The old Luxo lamp was $75...

The Terminator skull and the Cyberman head cost a bit, but they were still not retail price and they're worth twice what I paid for them.

I think I'm ahead of the game. :p

And it's not like I bought this all yesterday. This is years worth of "crap". ;):D
