I had to move back home for a short while years ago but they had me paying food and rent. eventually I was paying so much it was like why am i paying to live here when I can pay for my own place. hmm they probably planned that. anyway enjoy the home cooking while it lasts.

Have you seen failure to launch?

On a rack plugged in. No room for it on the desk anymore :(
Thinking about getting the longer top for my Ikea Galant.

Here's my pretty simple setup, nothing super fancy, except maybe for the two 27" displays  Snagged the Dell for $550AUS about 6mths ago.

Honestly I'm pretty content with setup I have now, all I'd really like is a sturdier desk and some more RAM. But I get by with the 4GB and despite the sagging on both sides at least desk is still holding everything up! And unlike most desks it's actually deep enough to comfortably fit the iMac, tablet and keyboard.

A nicer view than the beige wall of a rental house wouldn't hurt either :p

The arrival of the iMac G4

Well I've had a pretty busy month so far. I coxed the Boston Marathon for my rowing club, winning our division, not too bad really since it was my first time in a stern loader. (The marathon is a 31 mile route from Lincoln to Boston in the U.K), I loved it, but it was grueling.

I got my space grey 5S last weekend and my 4S has now been sold. The 5S is a fantastic phone, really speedy. Another addition arrived today, a 17'' 800Mhz iMac G4 which i've just been setting it up and cleaning. I only paid £29 off ebay and its in pretty good shape. Still one of my favourite Mac designs. It may make a good machine for completing uni work since stuff like youtube, facebook and twitter really struggle on it, so I'm free from distractions LOL.

Nothing exiting really, I don't watch nor own a TV, but I still needed a screen for my PS3. So instead of spending $500-$600 on a small 1080p TV I figured I may as well get another 1440p 27" display for the same price and use it with the iMac when the PS3 isn't being used.

It mostly gets used for various things when using Photoshop or 3D modelling, I like to have the program full screen on the iMac, and the Dell gets used for folders, browsers, videos, other programs, anything I happen to need open at the same time.

Regarding the A2s and A5+s that a number of you have shown in your set ups, how is the bass really? I keep reading completely conflicting reports about it either being perfect and clean or being a totally over powering muddy mess that drowns out both the vocals and the mid-range. So, what's it like really? I need new speakers and would like to avoid having to buy a receiver, too, but I can't stand any bass heavy enough that I can physically feel the vibration and nearly all the music I listen to is acoustic.

What do you do with that many iPod touches...?:eek:

Sell them. I collected them from an organization that no longer needed them. Some working, some not. Repaired the nonworking, sold everything. Same with the iPhones. Two of those are nonfunctional (water damage, but I still think I can fix them). Then the 5S on top is mine :D

I wish I'd remembered to take a pic sooner. I had two more iPhones just a couple weeks ago.

How do you plan on fixing the water damaged iPhones?

The white box as you may have guessed is a (refurbished) airport express.
