Been a while...
Haven't posted in one of these threads in quite some time. Really lovely gear everyone. I especially dig the simple, minimal setups.
I couldn't for the life of me get an entire shot of both desks. I'm sure my wife, who is a much better photographer, could have done a better job, but she's neck deep in her fall TV programming at the moment.
My office is very multipurpose. The workhorses (and 9-to-5 machines -- no pun intended) are the 27" i7 iMac, the 15" i7 rMBP and the Intuos 5 Large. These are flanked by Yamaha HS80M Studio Monitors (accompanied by the HS10w sub). I'm running two 3TB LaCie TB externals, one for backups, the other for media and project files. The rest of the audio gear is an Apogee Duet 2, a few guitars for recording (Schecter C1 Hellraisers of the FR and non-FR variety and a Stiletto Studio 5) and a pair of ATH-M50's that I'm currently using for most of my monitoring, since I just repainted the office and have yet to get panels onto the walls to eat up those reflections. The second desk houses the Cintiq 22HD, a Viewsonic VP2770 27" IPS display and the PC, which is equipped with a 4770k, Z87 Sabertooth, GTX 780 Superclocked Edition, 32gb of Corsair Vengeance and the Silverstone Fortress case. I'm using a pair of Astro A50's on the PC (highly recommended for anyone in the market for a nice set of cross-platform wireless cans).
Input devices are two G700's for both Mac and PC, Das Keyboard with Cherry MX Blue's for the Mac (including my super nasty worn out wrist rest -- apologies for that, it's pretty gross). For the PC I'm running a Coolermaster Tenkeyless (of which I forgot the name, but it's the model that includes both a numpad and arrow keys, which is really neato). My favorite part of the PC is the Ducky TKL wrist rest (not super nasty, because it's leather and made by Ducky).
Desks are by Hamlyn, and the chair is the Realspace Pro 9000 -- comes in at half the price of a more well-known HM and is just as comfy, and more adjustable.
Terribly cliche inspirational canvas provided by my wife. Displayed proudly, including all the cheese, because I love her bunches, and because the red and black match the accompanying guitars, and I'm a total sucker for uniformity.
