- iMac 21.5"
- MacBook Air 13" (Not pictured..)
- iPad Mini
- iPhone 4S
- Logitech X-230
- Canon Pixma iP5200
- Bose SoundLink Mini

The SoundLink Mini is just amazing. I use it everywhere around the house and it never disappoints. It's mostly connected to my iPad Mini. Come spring and summer, I'll bring it along outside, to the beach, on the boat, you name it.

The lighting on your shelf is amazing. Are they battery powered or is that something you have wired in?

Hello all!

This is the first time posting a pic of my set-up on these forums (havent really posted anything at all here now that I think about it...)

All of these were either passed on to me by my parents or bought used given my limited budget (with the exception of the iPad Air, dock and Beats Studios).

Anyhow it's not too shabby for a 17 year old :D

What desk is that?

http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S29932181/

Though can't find the exact size I bought - mine's 150 cm x 80 cm.

Good desk and was very cheap. Had the same one before, but the 100 cm x 60 cm version above - only cost £17 and was still going strong three years down the line!

This one is around 4 years old and not looking any worse for wear.

EDIT: I have a short memory - the desk which I have now uses legs from the previous one, but with this top: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/20251356/#/20251139

I have tops like those, but it seems Ikea changed the legs at some point in the last year - they now have adjustable screw-on feet, to help on uneven floors. They used to be sold under the VIKA series name, but I guess that changed. I enjoy mine because they're cheap, but also fairly sturdy and hold up well. I figure that if it gets damaged, I can very inexpensively replace part of it.

you have a demon hiding in your plant. take care.

I *LOVE* the lighting.

Thank you all! :) The spotlights were bought at IKEA a few years ago. Yep, they are wired in. Works well, as they came with a long cord, also featuring a switch, which is nice.

I'm not sure I see the demon hiding in my plant though...? ;)

Finally cleaned up the area enough for a pic.

- mid-2010 21.5" iMac
- 23" Dell Ultrasharp monitor
- Monoprice 5" studio monitors
- Avid mbox mini audio interface
- Monoprice drawing tablet
- Apple Wireless keyboard
- Apple magic mouse (hate this, anyone want to trade for trackpad?)
- mid-2012 13" MBP
- 16gb iPad mini
- 16gb iPhone 4s

Majority of this stuff was purchased last year, pretty happy with the set-up.

WOW... Just wow.

Although I must say I would be wary of a desk made out of K'NEX, aren't you worried that if one part of them breaks the entire desk may no longer be stable?

You would be surprised how sturdy those things are. Given how it's made, I bet it's as sturdy, if not more sturdy than some of the desks you can get out of somewhere like IKEA. As long as no one messes with the connections, it should be fine. I give him props for doing something different and unique. I like it!
