No. It's been in my vocabulary for a while.

Oh, good. :p

Anyway, to capitulate to your demands, I'll post my revised setup, now with the Hell in my sig, for you guys to pick apart. I decided to stop whining about my crappy monitor and just use it with the Powerbook. The best CRT on the planet is currently hooked up to my Power Mac.

Again, please post with any thoughts you may have! :D

Well after driving back home 9.5 hours from Sarasota back to Atlanta (hit horrible traffic), I was too exhausted to unpack and decided to leave it till morning. Unfortunately, someone must have seen all of the stuff in my SUV when I unloaded my girls stuff at her place and must have been followed home. I got home at about 8:45, by 9:24 there was already a charge on my stolen credit card. Sons of bitches. Took my DSLR, Laptop, GPS, all of my clothes, etc. All in all about $6,000+ of goods, then on top of that the damage from the broken window and the tint and I'm looking at about $7,500-$8,000 in total damages.

I had some stuff stolen with my car once, it is a right bummer. Cars aren't secure places to keep things at all an I never leave anything in my car now except maps, some blankets, bottled water etc. (usual in case of emergency stuff).

Hope your insurance covers it all.

I think it's about time for a new thread.

meh, I think this one is good for a little while yet.

Damn. This definitely wasnt a usual case, as like I said I had just gotten home from the road trip, but like the lovely police officer so blatantly stated when I listed the stolen goods "Those guys had a field day."

Insurance cover most of it, but its looking like I'm going to be out $750.

Anyway, guess that means new MacBook of some sort (Either Air, or Pro) and also an awesome delay on my dream setup (MP and 30", was on my way but this is going to put me way behind).

Gotta replace my XTi and iPod also.
