Cable management is a bugger, personally I'd try to focus most of the cable clutter that's under the desk behind the PC.

Pretty much all of my cables are hid behind my printer:p

On tenterhooks
for DVD or Game : iMac -> TOSLINK -> iBasso D1 -> Headphile BlackSilver Mini to RCA cable -> audioengine 2 -> Monster Cable Z2 Reference
When I watch movies at night, I need to use headphones. D1 have a headphone jack. It's a headphone amp w/DAC, of course.

for iTunes : iMac -> USB cable -> SUPER Pro DAC707-USB -> TARA-Labs Prism 3 RCA cables -> WooAudio 6 -> Grado SR-225 Headphile Zebrawood Mod with BlackMax cable -> banana hanger;)

and fun with a Juno-G.

Is the name of that beastly looking amp in that list somewhere???

is it possible to adjust the hp-display of the same height like the imac? if there will be no new ACDs after the wwdc i will buy the hp-one i think

No, you can't adjust it's height, but there's always cheap "stackers" made just to prop up a monitor and fit things underneath. I bought a cheap one for my small 22" Samsung HDTV that was just out of the shot.

havent posted my setup in a while, i made some changes, the table used to just have the cloth, but now i added a nice piece of wood on top from ikea...very apple store-esque.

I also moved the imac back onto the shelf for more desk space.

Awesome setup. Aluminum mac stuff just goes so well with glass desks. What kind of stand is your Macbook sitting on? Is it homemade?

Okay, this is after cleaning. Before, it had some Applecare repair archives from my MBP fiasco & other random clutter. From Left to right: PB12 1.5, 1.25gb, 100gb on top an apc laptop pedestal with usb hub ($20 clearance at officemax); Seagate 250gb for the PB; Samsung 19" got on black friday $100 Staples 2 years ago; 30gb revA ipod video (Nov 2006) battery has been replaced still running strong; tiny drink coaster made from plastic pellets, made in the 3rd grade! haha; 500gb iomega fw/usb hd gratis from Apple for my hassle; MBP penryn 2.4 7200 drive sitting on mStand (love it); then various papercraft computers and a pre-leopard :apple: business card. Alu keyboard & mighty mouse below on the PB. And I drug that sword and several knives from Toledo, Spain to my room, talk about a customs nightmare! Have a katana too, but its on another wall.

Just a few pictures to see how my first computer, first laptop, and first Mac is holding up, nearing its first anniversary of ownership by me.

I've also made a cool little DIY laptop stand out of random junk. It actually stands up fine, and it's custom-fitted for 14" Thinkpads.

Enjoy.

I know that I may sound somewhat annoying by this, and I apologize in advance for it, but in the last several installments of this thread (since the MBA came out) I have only seen 3-4 setups of MacBook Airs (not that they were bad or anything, some of them were amazing), and I am wondering if anybody else has any pics of their MBA setups to post? This machine has been out for several months now, and I am somewhat surprised that I haven't seen that many pics of MBA setups.

I mean, it's going to be a MacBook Air on a clean, object-free desk.

To be honest, I don't really care for the MBA to be in a perfectly clean and dusted environment, I was kind of hoping that there might be some more pictures out there other than the doctored ones of Apple, and other than when I see them in the :apple:Store. I kind of wanted to see some pics of it in a natural everyday use environment.
