Thanks. I was taking a few pictures of it for this thread on my dresser when I realized that lining it up with the mirror would make the picture a lot more interesting.

Well, it worked. It looks great on the black wood; silver and black look great together (except when one's a keyboard).

In the Depths of the SLC!
I have that same L desk! Haha. Couldn't resist.

It's a decent desk. I like that you can take the center section out and move the desk along a whole wall. And how you can adjust if the PC sits on the left or right of the keyboard tray. The pc holder is very wobbly though. The keyboard tray sucks too. It was strong but the ball bearings didn't work too well after about a year. I don't have the keyboard tray on it anymore, that is why I switched my setup to have the iMac on my wooden desk.

to join in on the 3rd gen ipod discussion; that was my first ipod as well. i loved the backlit keys although prefer the click wheel of newer gen models. while i'm still using a 5th gen, i think the metal front of the current generation is the nicest as far as durability is concerned. an awesome update would be to have glowing icons on the click wheel!

Earlier this week I restored my MacBook from a Time Capsule backup:

I swear it was on "Less than a minute remaining" for over an hour.

It gave me that too when I did that coming from my macbook to my new macbook pro. I restarted it once thinking it was hanging, but after around an hour it went fine.

I've made a few changes to my setup.

Firstly I've picked up a new Apple Macbook, which is an amazing little laptop. It certainly breaks new ground. I've also bought a Apple Cinema Display. It's also great. I'd love one of the new 24in ones, but they are bit too pricey! I've also got a new HP all in one printer.

Love that racing seat. Where did you get it? Is it custom made?

That looks great; nice and clean, plus the old ACD's still look really nice. I like the wallpaper on the ACD in the second pic, I've got it too somewhere.

Yeah it's a great wallpaper I've used it for years. I think it's called of me and you or something along those lines.

Custom made by myself, didn't take too long, just an hour or two. Just a spare chair base and a racing seat, with a piece of mdf to adapt the holes.

Love the desk ^^^^

Nice and chunky :D

Thanks I made it myself. It's huge which I love. I keep threatening to remake it, but I can't justify the time. As I've got far more important diy jobs to do first.
