hey ebook, where'd you get that nice keyboard cover for your iBook?

I actually picked it up at the Apple Store in Des Moines, IA. But I know you can get them all over the place on-line such as Other World Computers and probably the Apple site. I'm pretty sure it's made by Radtech or one of those types of companys. It's great for keeping the finger oils and key marks off my screen

Here's a shot of my setup as it is today:

+/-

The iBook normally hangs around in the living room (iTunes & surfing). It does sometimes accompany me to school & work.
PC is for occasional gaming and folds 24/7.
The broken 21" (on the left) will get repaired once i have the need for it, I've got enough working screens for now.
Whenever i get my hands on to much money i'll buy me a new battery for the vaio, the wireless card i already have (salvaged from an old & broken AP base station). For now it's just waiting for me to get in to configuring FVWM, i wanted it the hard way... i like shells though.
The B&W is for pre-OSX gaming, i don't boot in to debian that often on that machine.
My shuffle is on there somewhere, at home it normally gets used with an old Phillips radio/amp i got from an ex-colleague. Situated in the dining room / kitchen.
I also have my dad's old Palm, a Tungsten T (not pictured), but i prefer my own Zire.
And to end the brag: the picture is taken with a Nikon Coolpix 7900

Cheers

Hey what is that thing that looks like a shuffle but isn't?

Time for a little update:

Here's my set-up. I figured I would share with everyone else. You can see my mini, my pc (which doesn't work right now) and my laptop (work computer). Now I am just waiting for someone to give me a 23" ACD to replace the 17" CRT, and a 15" powerbook so I can lose the crappy Toshiba laptop. Anyone want to contribute to a poor youth pastor?

That is the kind of set-up I like to see. Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. That is what I have here, however my Linux skills are very poor, and my Mac machines are old 5500 series all-in-ones running OS 9.

^^thats nice....that pc box is huge man, do u ever kick that thing.....by mistake of course:rolleyes:

Bless

I do kick it from time to time sometimes because I hate it and sometimes because it is so big.

Here's a new pic of my setup. The subwoofer is from my home theater system, not my computer speakers. That one's actually under the desk. And yeah, that's not a real computer chair, but it's comfortable.

Braaap, braaap, braaaaaaaaap!

< / Motocross rider greeting > :)

Noticed the bars, pipe, and posters :)

Nice setup and desktop props. I have some misc XR-50 and KTM 125 parts laying around that I should setup. Including my XR-50 number plate signed by Travis Pastrana ( Met him at a rally event ), and a few parts broken in battle on the track, including a chipped second gear lost to the whoops :( .

Thanks! Yeah, I like my room a lot. I really need new carpet in here. I'd like to get some hardwood floor, but I don't feel like taking all of my stuff out to put it down. :D

FYI
I removed all pictures with the exception of the picture i was referencing. Next time I will be sure to ask your permission before replying to a post (Yeah right!) .

However to save your finger in the future, you can always avoid picture posts like this as they tend to have long replies.

Sorry mate, didn't mean to single you out. I just meant to comment that of the 63 pages of this thread, pretty much all of them have several pictures shown three or four times each at 800 or so pixels high, adding un-necessary length to the already long page. Another thing that erks me- people with long signatures who don't uncheck the "Show your signature" box when they're posting several times in the same thread. Also, typing in white is a little annoying.

All valid points, No offense taken :)

I just am a sucker for posting counterpoint, and sometimes it looks that I am getting personal when I am not intending to :). I tend to forget about the "Show your signature" check box on replies, I shall try to use it more often.
