My Old Setup from 1999 or there about. In the old basement in Alexandria, VA. (I've posted this before :D)

It was quite nice, but the ceiling was a little on the low side (I could hit my head on the main beam in the room.

I'll post pics of the new media lab next...

Went with a less saturated purple this time (the images don't quite get it). This is the office in Indiana.....and when I get the G5 it will be almost complete...I need another piece of furniture to hold/store other items (the trunk has all the camera and video gear).

Ha! Glad you like them. Picked a couple posters and some water colors in Firenza and Sienna. I'm looking forward to getting back - the other picture is actually a photo of mine that I took at Pisa :D

nice ones Mr. A. :D but i do like the basement set-up better... but i guess it is good to have a change of space once in a while. especially a change to a bigger space.

We moved from a 1700 sq ft 3 story town house, parking space in front of the house for one car in Alexandria VA to a 4000+ sq ft home, 3 car garage on a 27 acre lake with a dock and beach in Indiana. I'm really not complaining :D

I've attached the a copy of the Pisa Image.....

You want a DVI KVM switch with USB. It should cost something between $100 and $200.

edit: I just did a cursory search of eBay and apparently it's going to cost closer to $200.

I'm not sure why the description in this listing specifies 1600x1200 as the maximum resolution. It's possible that it's lowballing the spec for PCs... for example, the maximum resolution on my IBM P260 is listed as 1920x1400, but I can run it at 2048x1536.

precisley people seem to have problem wih the belkins kvm switches it seems, but there are not much out there if any really that support 1920 1200 the res i run on my mc and my pc, kinda sucks bad time, i need one to support 1920 by 1200, DVI and 2 USB ports. Having a hard time finding them here....

I see alot of you let your cats sleep on your desk. Arn't you worried about the cat hair getting into your systems. My wifes and my desk are the only two places the cats are atually not aloud, lol. Well, I wouldn't care if it got on her desk, she uses evil evil dells.

It may be a good idea to get a DVI KVM without USB (whether there's PS/2 or no serial connector at all), and pick up the Belkin USB switch that I posted about earlier in this thread. Sure it's two things to switch, but it works.

only one problem there resoultion says that it only goes up to 1600 by 1200 i need it to go 1920 by 1200, looked on the belkin site for the dvi switch and they only have 2 dvi kvm switches both dont state higher than 1600 by 1200.unless ur saying that u have a belkin kvm and it goes higher than stated?

Please go back and read what I wrote again, this time slowly. :) 1. I never said "Belkin DVI." I said Belkin USB switch. It's on my desk, it works great and I recommend it. 2. What I said was regarding my IBM P260 monitor, for which all published specs say the maximum resolution is one thing while my experience shows me that it runs at a higher resolution. I speculated that it may be a PC thing to underspecify resolution, and that the 1600x1200 spec you see in print may really be 1920x1200 in practice.
