Can one of you guys that own a 30" Apple display tell me what the deminsions are? The deminsions of the display frame not including the stand.

:)

30" Apple Cinema Display dimensions:

27 3/16" wide
18" high
1 13/16" deep

I have mine mounted on the wall with an OmniMount. For my setup it works much better then the regular stand.

Here's my set up... I'm a recent switcher (August 04) and a product of the "halo effect". Thats why I bought some AAPL, because I knew there were more people out there like me switching because of the iPod. I absolutely love my eMac. :)

Well, the Nikon D2H just had a major price reduction and is now available for $1999.00, I just picked one up and I don't know how I ever lived with out 7-8fps @4.3MegaPixel.

That is one nice setup mate.
How is the iMac G5 compared to the G4 you have..

And is it the iMac or the PB that runs the LCD

My first Mac

FINALLY, after lurking for almost a year I finally register an account. ^_^ kekeke

My 1.8Ghz DP G5... 1.25GB RAM, etc. I adore my Samsung 172T 17" DVI LCD and Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers. The MS Bluetooth mouse blows.

Honestly, pretty much the same. The dual 1GHz G4's hold up very well to the single 1.8GHz G5 in the iMac. It's probably a little more snappy, but no massive difference.

The Dell 20" is hooked up to the iMac (dual 20's :D), it works great.

Very Nice looking set up, got my attention! Welcome a-board!

Thanks guys! :) I just put the camera on the desk since I was shooting without the flash and needed stability. I was hoping my iPod shuffle would have arrived for the shot.

Looking through this thread again, there are some GORGEOUS setups out there!!! :)

urs is by far the most attractive one I have seen yet. what kinda speakers are those? I see fromt he video on the screen that you like some rap. I do too and I need good speakers with good bass. You like urs for what you listen to?

Rob587, thanks man! Yeah, I listen to a lot of hip-hop and these new speakers are absaloutely amazing. I didn't include the subwoofer in the shot but I can ensure you it is very large and very loud. I think you'd love them! The problem is that low quality audio samples sound terrible. You'll suddenly have a new appreciation for high quality audio. :)

h0e0h, the silver joG dail thing beside the keyboard is actually the wired remote for the Logitech Z-2300 speakers. It includes a blue LED, volume knob, bass knob and headphone jack. Considering the overpowering bass the subwoofer can produce at times it's a greatly needed addition to the remote. :)

Too connect the Dell LCD what adaptor did you use  and for software did you use the "Screen spanning doctor" program

I picked up the Mini-VGA->VGA adapter from Apple to get the full size usable VGA output from the iMac, then used the screen spanning hack.
