That could be really sweet looking if you cleaned up a bit.

DJMastaWes said:Hey guys, well since I'm getting a MacBook Pro soon, my old desk does not have enough room for an iMac, a MacBook Pro and doing homework. SO yesterday I went to IKEA and got a new desk! So I have some pics, enjoy. Also, when I order the MacBook Pro I'm going to order a apple wireless mouse and keyboard, this way everything will look amazing together.

I do video editing, although it's 98% weddings so it's not anymore hard core than syncing words, pictures, videos, and transitions to music. As well as in-depth color correction. They do take quite a bit of work for the DVDs we make though. My setup is just my MacBook and the iMac at the Studio which I don't have a picture of, we use an HD editing program in Windows called Let's Edit, it's not near as complicated as programs like Sony Vegas and Final Cut Pro that I've used before while I was working for Dumb Dog Imagination. At the studio we have a Sony DCR-VX2100 (not HD), a Sony HDR-HC3 (HD) and I believe a Canon XL2.

"Note: This does not reflect my feelings toward the Windows operating systems. I use this for work and Windows specific applications."
I don't mind it, it's actually kind of nice to have the best of both worlds, Windows and Mac are so different. Mac isn't better than Windows, they really aren't even comparable.

The company I work for is a Network Imaging Corporation for weddings and corporate events. Mostly Photography and some Videography. The videos we edit in Windows is already an easy established workflow. Most people who work for the company are Photographers themselves and are not required the prior knowledge of Final Cut Pro and the teaching of it would be waistful of time. We would use Final Cut if it wasn't just simple montages.dpaanlka said:If you do it for a Job, then why don't you just learn to use Final Cut Pro.
