That looks killer andrewfee.

May I ask where you got your TV?
Thanks. :D I bought it from empiredirect.co.uk, although I've not had great service from them, so I wouldn't recommend buying a set from them.

It's a TX28DT40 which has now been replaced with a newer model from Panasonic. Not only is this model uglier, it has less features / inputs, and costs more as it's new, lol.

Argh, I'm an idiot - didn't see you were in the UK. I am getting the Panasonic 30" Widescreen, and thought maybe I could save a few $$$ by going with a 28 incher.

Oh well, your setup rocks!

Well I was the Third one to post on this thread and the times have changed...

I'm really diggin that setup man... i think that when income taxes come back and next semester's refund are totaled, i may have close to a powermac... but the display is a horse of a different color... maybe i'll have a clean Powermac and Display set up someday... and get rid of this PC and this 17" LCD, but i'm keepin the powerbook and iCurve...

Hi

Can someone tell me how big (width/height) the screen is for 20 inch and/or 23 inch.

The 20 inch doesn't seem to be much bigger than my 15 inch imac screen - just wider. :/

Thanks
David

I recently put a Radeon 9200 in my B&W so I could use dual displays, which of course required a drastic change in setup. ;)

What kinda keyboard is there is no arrow keys

I finally got around to taking a picture of my setup.

On the left are my Siemens phones and my Logitech MX 700. On the right my Shuffle, Airport Extreme and my LaCie HD hiding behind the other plant. The PB is connected to my Sony Amp, and there are two big speakers on the sides of the desk.

Now the only things missing are my iPod mini and my 23" Cinema Display... :D

That's a great setup, I love the plants. Full credit to you if you manage to keep it that clean/neat/tidy while you're actually working from it though! :)

Thanks, I usually keep it this way. Everything I work on is in the cupboard on the right hand side. After I am done with it it goes back there. I hate nothing more than an untidy desk. :D
And yes, I couldn't live without plants and these two I've had since they were reaaally small.

dsharits, you have the coolest G3 setup ever! I've always loved Apple's old LCD studio displays. That's so cool...
Wow, thanks so much. I love it too. The display, believe it or not, I bought on Ebay for less than $60, because it didn't have the power adapter with it. So, I modified an old clamshell iBook adapter to make it work with the display. I'm glad you like it. Thank you for the compliment.

I have a lot of stuff, some not even pictured here, below is a lot of text that describe the links to the images below, Enjoy! :D

Setup_3.jpg

My setup in my room in my parent's house in PA - There is my old 19inch Mono TV, 15inch VGA Gateway Monitor from the local thrift store (they get a lot of business from me :p), Semi-working old RCA VCR, Hard Drives and such, Multimedia Speakers, Apple Extended Keyboard, and Apple Bus Mouse II (* Looks pretty much the same now, the PowerBook is always moving around)

Well that's it for now I think, I have tons of pictures but I don't feel like taking up all of my iDisk space. I need a desk in my room but, I have to clean my room badly first. And yes the PowerBook is usually on my bed but, it stays cool thanks to the fan next to me - and besides that I never let it get too hot. (unlike when my old clamshell iBook was overheating - I stupidly left it on a poofy chair and it kept making the alert sound ever 15 min, I ran upstairs and turned it off. I spent the rest of the day with it's keyboard open and a fan right on it.)

It's great seeing all these setups, mine is the messiest of them all I bet.

Hi guys,

I just got my Dell 2405FPW on thursday and here's my setup.

I'm getting the Logitech Z-5500 speakers very soon to replace my old altec lansing ones you see here. I'm going to mount the 2 front and 2 back speakers to the top corners of the walls so it will be more surround like.

I apologize if the pics are too big, I couldn't locate the rules on posting size :)
