Dang, there have been quite a few old school cinemas in the last few pics. They all look hella good though...:)

What size are those duals raddsigns?

Finally got around to painting the office and changing the setup to suit my needs better. You don't get a great shot of the Mac here, and my PowerBook is not in the shot, but you get the idea.
Nice! You use a Griffin iFire too, right?

They are both 17" - I would love to upgrade to a 23" Aluminum, but the bank account doesn't agree with me right now ;)

Oh ok, probably just the perspective. The one on the left especially looks a bit "wide screen".

Opposite side of the room houses my AirPort Express, also one in the living room connected to the stereo.

Man that is great  :D

I love the old cinema displays ;)

Actually I don't - I've got a dual 867 G4 MDD - so it has the pro speaker connector built in already - no need for the iFire.
Cool.. I suppose I sort of imagined there was a G5 tower to the right of your desk, next to the wall, but now I see the G4 tower under the desk on the left side. By any chance is Office Space one of your favorite movies? I noticed the red stapler. :)

Ha!. I do love that movie - one of my friends got that for my birthday because we had just watched the movie together - it was pretty funny.

very very cluttered desk tops (but, very functional)

My set up is two computer desks side by side. The pixs will show how cluttered my desks are; but, it is very functional in terms of using my notebooks. All set up on the stands so that there is space beneath to tuck away keyboards/mouse and other accessories such as hubs. I need to find a better place for my 12" PB as it is somewhat sqeezed in on the Windows desk. I admit I need to do something about the entire set up to be more presentable.

I am very confused as to how you can possibly use 5 laptops??
Dell is for work (I keep it on 24/7 to get work e-mails via Lotus Notes through VPN and will be with me when I am at work). HP is for grunt work such as using MS Money and some surfing). Compaq is just not used because I have only 2 arms (it is on the mobile stand near my ikea couch; so I can use surf the net wile on that couch). 12" is a new addition and it will come withme when I am travelling (I try not to use my work PC for surfing because you never know if the company's IT installed some web tracking software; you cannot be too cautious about that nowadays). 15" Ti and 15" Al are used simultaneously sometimes. I watch some movies on Ti and while watching it, I check this forum and others with Al. I think I am set with the notebooks for now. But, I am interested in 20" ro 24" LCD screen.

My LG 24" LCD TV is used for TV as I don't want to plug in & out each time.

Well, those are just plain ol' stickers for affixing to whatever and anything you want.

Well, here's my G4 upstairs with the iPods, Soundsticks, and Tablet:

Ya, me too. Even your reasons are flawed. Could you not have one laptop for work with that checking the emails? Could you not have the AlBook and then have an external monitor if you want to check forums, or just have the movie at half the screen? And a computer on your couch? It's a 12inch iBook, it's small and portable I'm sure you can move it 3 steps across to the couch.

damn - 5 laptops?!

so you're saying that you take the work laptop with you everwhere as well as the 12" PB? that's way way overkill.

and yeah - no need to buy another PB just to watch movies on. that's what a dual-monitor setup is for.

do you have insurance on all of that stuff? i bet you could save a bit of money by selling some of them as well...

Guys, look at the pictures more closely... there are 6 laptops total. The one you're missing is in middle picture, the foreground, cut off by the bottom of the frame. There's one HP, one Dell and one Compaq (in addition to the three PowerBooks.)

Well if he has 6 laptops hes ok in my book.

I thought he had 5, so I hated him.
