Here's my setup. Running the latest, albeit standard model of the Macbook Pro. HP printer, Klipsch 2.1 Speakers, Creative X-Fi Remote, and Logitech G5 mouse with Razer pad.

Thanks for being the definitive source on all things RAM. Yes, there are 4Gb laptop sodimms. Good try, though. They cost an unholy amount and nobody can buy them, but they exist.

obviously there are prototype models and ****, but like you said nobody can buy them. therefore, they don't exist to the general population yet (just like i said).

The mouse is on the right I think he means the white 'smudge' on the wallpaper, middle of the screen, on the left side.

And I think the aura was created by a phone-camera or it's just not focussed correctly

Octi-core desktops don't exist in the general population yet... yet people have them. just because something is expensive, doesn't mean nobody has it.

You guys both have really nice looking setups. When apple first released the new alMac I wasn't too thrilled... but they look amazing in person.

nice setup, i just went from the Logitech S510 keyboard to the apple one and it really is like night a day... the new apple keyboard is simply amazing.

i spose macs could be personified as a human. alot of people have fallen in love with them, i kno i have hahaha.

The Macbook will be replaced with a Macbook Pro once they start shipping them with Leopard.

Just curious as to why you are looking to upgrade to the MBP. The updated SR chipset (with faster CPU and FSB)? GPU?

Personally, I MUCH prefer the form factor and look of the MB's over the MBP's.

serious??? i much prefer the quality and look of the mbp's over the MB's. dont get me wrong they still look good. i just think the silver stands out so much more thank the black, and the white just doesnt do it for me
