I can't stand the keypad, nor can I go without unlimited texting.

Ya, that and unlimited data and javascript web surfing. He's got a point appleintelrock, all that for 20$ US on top of his regular voice plan. Looks like quality is right up there. I'm a little miffed because I wanted to play with the SK3 first hand here in Canada but Fido has recently pulled the data plan (not sure if big brother Rogers forced it off, or if Fido marketing team was just too complacent and duped into thinking the device itself will sell on its own. In a market that doesnt follow stars as closely as the US does).

appleintelrock, I wanted to know does the Pearl's ball soft touch or is it hard like a marble ball (Jacks)? Also does the light strobe at all or can it be set to do so like the SK3? If not I'm hoping a simple mod can be done to do so. I'm getting a Pearl within 4 weeks. But the data charges are gonna rip-me-a-new-one OUCH!

Now with Danger services no longer offered, Fido is content to wait till all existing SK2 users devices end of warranty and grandfather their data plan & APN until they force them off or get sick of issues on the hardware. I'm hoping Danger Inc can assist with marketing and make a deal that Rogers/Fido can accept to launch the SK3 here. I dont badly want a SK3 but data competition is seriously needed in this market! IF not then we'll all have lint in our pockets with PPC-PE's & BB's & SYmbian OS E62's soaking up the dow!

Well, the Blackberry plans on T-Mobile at least come with unlimited e-mail and web, but no instant, text, or photo messages.

I've also heard that if your Pearl rings, if the trackball moves the slightest in your pocket, it'll silence the ringer.

I am one of dem-der iDen people!

I actually like this phone. I am not into gadgets on my phone. I want something that works, and is durable.

IMHO the only thing close to the durability of the old Nokia 6100 I had.

I don't see the point of that. We are all very capable of typing "Ericsson z610i" into images.google.com. If you're going to post a picture fine- If it's of YOUR phone.

In case you haven't noticed, a lot of people don't have a camera, or maybe they see no point in getting it out, taking a pic, and transferring it. MUCH easier to do a google search.

let's start a "post manufacture's image of your phone" thread then ;)

Blackberryville is much nicer than Palmtown

to each their own.

i love palm. they work well together with apples.

IMO, blackberries are too business-y.

i like how treos are simple, straight-forward, and easy to use.

Haha, stop talking about my blackberry pearl :p
I love how treos are super unstable and crash all the time as well :D

I love how you think the Pearl is the bestest, foolproof, bulletproof, sound proof booth proof, scratchproof, illiteracy-proof, drop proof, proof proof phone that NOBODY can match in terms of its bestness and proof-ness.

My IQ just went down.

I thought your blackberry could stop that, too. Apparently it's just a natural process for you. Don't worry, I know of some people that can help you with that.

Considering Blackberry makes the best phones in the world- I bet they do have something to help me raise my IQ :D

haha relax guys...they're just cell phones.

treos have their fans and blackberrys do as well.

i personally never had any freezes or crashes with
my treo so im satisfied. that's all that matters.

I just got my RAZR V3c on Sunday, so I decided to take some pictures of it and share them with the MacRumors group! So post your phones! I'm interested to see what kind of stuff you guys have.

I have the same phone. Got it last December. I want the Q but I guess I'll have to wait a year for my plan to expire.

I'm still waiting for the iPhone.

Here is my current one:D It has a flashlight and nearly 2 weeks battery life:eek:

It also has snake!:D

I didn't say they were the only good phones, I said they're simply the best

You know, I'd like to apologize about my behavior. I got into a really bad mood yesterday. I hope you accept. I think the Pearl is a great phone. Hell, my dad's probably going to get one tomorrow.

Speaking of which, my Samsung A670 snapped in half. :( Looks like another carrier bites the dust. I also don't trust Samsung anymore, as any Samsung our family's bought has had severe issues. My brother's and his girlfriend's A670s both snapped in half (but four months before mine did), my sister's A460 wouldn't make calls in our house, my other sister's VGA1000 had an atrocious paint job, my mom's A740 don't answer calls but delivers the voicemail....four hours later, and my brother's new A850 is falling apart as well! I hardly use my phone, and it breaking is totally inexccusable. I've crossed the t629 off my wish list!

I think what's going to happen is my mom's going to get me a Sidekick for Christmas, and in the meantime, I'm going to use our spare Samsung A840 on Sprint.

my crappy Sony Ericsson Z520a(from cingular)
Im on my third one since march(this one has a squeaky/loose hinge... I think my parents are getting tired with my bad luck with everything electronic i own
