Hi. I constantly test me.com and iCloud.com. It pushes sporadically to either address. My me.com is primary and iCloud.com is alias per my account. As of now, Sunday morning, push is complete failure. However, 'EMAIL' app has no problem with me.command iCloud.com pushed to it. Tells me Apple servers are pathetic.
[doublepost=1477240205][/doublepost]How is everyone's other push services....twitter, instagram, Skype, messenger.....etc? Mine all work fine. Just the native Apple mail doesn't receive push. I stand by my position that Apple mail servers are failing. Every other app's servers appear to push just fine.
Skype push notifications for me doesnt work.

It's all push notitications. It's not just an email issue. Voicemail are delayed as well. Up to an hour.

Visual voicemail??
[doublepost=1477245804][/doublepost]Another q: all those experiencing push failures, was everyone a MobileMe subscriber before iCloud went active? Did everyone have a me.com paid account?

My own push failures started as soon as I used the migration assistant from Apple to transition from me.com to iCloud.com. It was a server migration I believe......which never worked reliably?

Yes, visual voicemail. This is a new issue. Has nothing to do with the issue several years back. This impacts the push notification server and not the email server. Otherwise it wouldn't work on Mac or iCloud.com in which it does.

I originally had a .Mac account but migrated to iCloud along time ago. Push Mail notification is sporadic on all addresses (@Mac, @me & @icloud). Happens on both iPhone 6s and iPad Air 2 regardless of if I'm signed in to iCloud as @Mac or @icloud.

Doesn't VM use just regular APNS that basically all/most apps use for notifications, compared to the push email service that email uses, which is different and specific to email?

I couldn't tell you. But the only reliable notifications I am getting is Messages. Everything else is a joke.

Most of my notifications are fine as far as I know. The only one I'm having trouble with is mail. In the past I had a problem with calendar push notifications though, that took forever (well over a year) to resolve. I don't think this is the same kind of issue though, in that case I got no notifications at all. This issue is more sporadic in nature, at least for me.

I'm not getting SnapChat, Instagram, Visual VoiceMail, Real Racing, and a few more apps. Obviously, mail as well. When I do get them, its 1-3 hours later, and they are time stamped with the earlier time.

I'm experiencing the identical issue as when me.com migrated to iCloud.com.

I mean IDENTICAL!

But that's just my account.

Thought my email issues went away in the past few days but guess not. Just got 3 email notifications out of nowhere for emails sent over 12 hours ago. Guess it's still an issue. Gonna call apple in the morning. I'm on iOS 10.1 beta 5. Just started happening a few days ago too.

Same issue as everyone here, since 2-3 weeks now. I was considering trying Spark since few months now, Ihaven't because Mail was doing everything I needed just fine, but now...

I never had any complains against iCloud before, I even suscribed to a paid plan for 50 Go of storage few months ago, but this issue is getting a little bit annonying and it seems that no one (Apple and the main information websites) is giving a single f**k.

I encourage everyone to call Apple and ask to speak with a Senior advisor. I think part of the problem is, unless it's pointed out, most people aren't aware the issue exists.

No way they are taking this long to fix it.

I notice I'm getting email in batches of 2 each time

Send 1 email to me. Nothing

Send another... badge appears with 2

Send 1 more nothing

Send another... badge appears with 4

I've noticed this too, although not specifically in twos. Seems like one email will not make it through but when there are multiples they get pushed.

Yeah same here. If I send one test mail, immediately followed by another they will get through immediately. Haven't had chance to contact apple about it yet.

Hi all, just joined regarding this issue. iOS 10.0.2, iPhone 6.

Since updating last week, iCloud email has NOT been pushed to my phone consistently, and specifically when on cellular network. When connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, push seems to work.

On a related note, when push for iCloud *is working*, the email alert sounds for my iCloud email work. When push is not working, and I have to open the email app to *fetch* new emails, there are no alert sounds when the emails do show up (in real time on the app).

Unfortunately it has nothing to do with Cellular vs. Wifi or version of iOS. Its all related to Apple's servers.

Ah ok. I guess push for iCloud email is occasionally working for me, and the latest instance it worked I was on wifi.

So this is only happening to iOS 10 users? Wish I hadn't upgraded!!

Frustrating! People on twitter are suggesting to enable fetch every 15 min., that'll drain battery life though!
