There aren't any. There are only two video cards with a mini displayport in existence, and makes both of them.
i finaly understoof why it shows two 48x0 devices in pci cards section
one of them is hdmi audio device (like here - http://www.macxtrem.com/HD4890/screen2.png )
does Apple's 4870 have same attitude ?
That reference board still only has a link speed of 5 GT/s when flashed, though, right?
First of all, thanks all for the wonderful info posted. I manage to flash my XFX 4870 to work on my Mac Pro.
So far so good. But I experience the screen will flick white for split second once a while. Also, how to check the core/mem speed of the flashed card?
Only place is in Windows.
The brilliant software from Thomas Perrier to clock Mac cards has not been updated since G5 days. It was our only option.
So, anybody who wants to comment, where should I go from here? Is there someone specific that I should talk to?
If there is any particular debugging information that is necessary, I'm happy to collect it.
Thanks!
probably a dumb question but,
is there a copy of any of the roms from the card? (either the 512 or the 1 gig from apple?) (if they make a 1 gig card yet?)
if not then:
what rom is the best one to flash this card with?
card is 4870 model hd-487A-zhfc
thanks
