I bought 3 iPhones 14 PM in 3 different countries. If i boy 10000 14Pm I will have the issue. I cant, though, change my settings and apps. But it's surely this. Apps + settings

Did iOS 16.2B1 fix the issue?
I updated to 16.2 beta 1 yesterday. So far my 14PM is perfect. All animations are buttery smooth which is probably due to fix "Animated layout changes now support up to a 120hz refresh rate on ProMotion displays." In the past the animation lag/stutter when swiping up reappeared within a day after a reboot or iOS upgrade. I'm not 100% sure it's fixed yet but I'm very optimistic.

Today I heard from Apple technical support and they confirmed that they have numerous reports regarding this bug. He reported everything I explained to him by also adding the number of feedback I released through “feedback assistant”. Anyone with this bug does the same thing because it looks like they are moving and taking charge of the matter. They confirmed that the problem is related to the software and only affects the 14 Pro Max model.

Mine is too but it’s not fixed. A very trustworthy user in this thread saw the issue this morning after 3 days.

So far so good for me. I have the Home Screen search turned off, doubt that has anything to do with it though.

I have always turned off the home screen search and still have the problem.
I had the problem with the iPhone 12 and now with my 13 Pro Max. I had the problem with 16.1 and now it’s fixed with 16.2 beta 1. My phone is now a joy to use. The stuttering/lag drove me nuts! Have you installed 16.2 beta 2 yet?

It’s not fixed and I can assure you and it will come up again, eventually.

I understand where you're coming from. Look back at my posts here and I was that guy that told other people the stutter would come back....and it always did for me throughout the entire 16.1 beta cycle. I'm now on several days with the 16.2 beta 1 and not a single stutter yet. ALL apps are buttery smooth with the 120 Hz. Have YOU experienced the stutter since you installed 16.2 beta 1 on Thusday??

Not yet. But definitely not optimistic.

So what’s the consensus on this?

14 pro here and just noticed the occasional stutter/pause when swiping out of the apps. Guess I’ll wait for 16.2 if that solves it?
