iPad Retina iPad Wallpapers Thread

Had to help out a fellow trekker. I cleaned it up the best I could. Let me know how it looks on the new iPad.

love the grand tetons image, would like to find some more color images of the tetons for ipad retina as they make nice wallpapers. I have like 8 different iphone retina wallpapers featuring them.
This site is ripping off my wallpapers and hosting them as their own
My images cost me over £20k in camera equipment and that again for travel.
It's a shame.
I've put a link to the 2048x2048 version on each image btw

Looks like loads of sites are hosting my images claiming them as my own.
Enjoy them guys - I made them for us, the users, not those thieving scumbag sites... Apart from 2 who sought permission of course.
I always find it infuriating when sites post images without crediting the artist. Luckily I'm not having the same problem you are, yet. I suppose it would be flattering though.
This is one of the reasons I moved to Zenfolio instead of Flickr - less exposure, yes, but more control over my images and who can download them on a whim.
Is there an iPad app for this? What wallpapers with shelves? Where can I get those, I have a lot of them for iPhone but not for iPad. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
Not positive if there is a better way, but the long way I used was. Click the thumbnail. Click the next image that comes up. When it goes to the slideshow/black screen click View all sizes in the upper right hand corner. After that select the "original" size (2048x2048). Right click and save?
Definitely a pain. I wonder if he has the whole pack on his site.
how do you get these to look good for portrait mode, when i go to set as wallpaper parts get cropped
The wallpapers need to be 2048x2048 to accommodate landscape and portrait. This means in either mode, there will be some cropping. In Portrait, the width is only 1536 and the sides will be cropped. In landscape, the height is 1536 and the top and bottom will be cropped.
Edit: Another one for the Final Fantasy Tactics fans (myself included).

That doesn't work on Flickr. There are copyright protections on the site that prevent you to save the images.

When you save it to your iPad it will be 2048x2048.

Michael, I hate to ask, as you have done so much in having your mages available for download, but I was wonering if you might have a zip of all of these 2048x2048 images? That or an FTP link... I would like to grab them all to put in my backgrounds collection, but a a little lazy.
Feel free to say too bad, I am happy to download one by one, but just curious... otherwise, if you happen to have them and a dropbox account, PM me and we can sort out a shared folder...
