Help Please!

Found this image elsewhere online (I do not own it).The thing I love about this image is that it helps draw the attention to the apps, which is where the attention should be IMO. The only problem is, this is only a 1024 x 1024 image... does anyone care to take this and sharpen it and increase to 2048 x 2048? I have neither the means nor the methods to do so.

thanks in advance~

Couldn't find that exact image at 2048x2048, but it's just a wood wallpaper in grayscale. Here is a similar one using a wood wallpaper from a few pages back.

blended them in better with the surrounding colour - I'll take those cookies!

I'm going to bed now, so if anyone points out anything else, it'll have to wait until morning, unless someone else does it.

Thank you very much. Your time is much appreciated.

:D

I appreciate the time! It's not as dark as the one I posted, but I can be happy with this one for now, until I find the original one in retina display.

Thanks again~

I've searched around, but I haven't found any University of Texas retina wallpapers! Anyone have any?

Newbie Question

First let me say hello to everyone and i have a iPad 3rd gen 32gb. I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question, but when I go to the wallpaperswide website it tells me my display resolution is 768x1024. Why is it not telling me the 2048x2048? Do I need to turn on the retina display in settings?

It's a bug with Safari on iOS. It renders images at a maximum of 1024x1024 and it still thinks its the resolution of the iPad 1 & 2. I'm sure this will be fixed with the next update, but for now just know that if you view an image that is supposed to be 2048x2048 but only showing up as 1024x1024, when you save it to your photos it will be full resolution.

Thanks for the quick response.

Anyone have any of Fenway Park?

I found a few on Google Images. These are not my work, nor do I take credit for them. Credit goes to the original photographers.

To everyone who noticed that on the iPad the retina wallpapers are showing up as 1024x1024 in Safari, MacRumours posted an article on the front page which says Tom's Hardware found that this is happening. Saving them to the Photos app will still result in the original 2048x2048 images.

Yup, that's the default Mountain Lion wallpaper. Here's the full size 3200x2000 wallpaper.

Here is also that wallpaper fitted for the new ipad (2048x2048)

Why aren't these coming up in the proper resolution?
