I own both! I can feel ya. Ideally, I'd like to make some money back, but the pro is such a nice device. I use my iPad primarily for browsing and taking math notes, however, if I am not about, the pro is very nice for the note taking. Anything that involves studying, reading, playing games, etc, I use my mini! I would keep both if it is financially stable for you.I’m straight up addicted to using my Mini 5.. and I have a iPad Pro 12.9 2018... it almost feels pointless to own the larger unit when this is just as powerful and way more usable in a casual sense.. trying to figure out how to keep the 12.9 in my rotation.. sigh
But what about films prior to 2006?Movies
I honestly didn't notice. I completely forgot, and I do not mind at all.How is the mini's display compared to the Pro one, if you disregard pro motion? Say when reading a web page text in Safari with black background, how are the blacks and contrast?
Get the mini!My gosh, I regret returning my Mini 5 smh
I did it cuz I got a new XR but returning that now because of hardware issues right out of the box.
No either getting the iPad Pro 10.5, 11 or get the Mini back.

Both look great. Of course the pro is sharper and more vivid, but it really doesn’t matter to me so much especially on a device so small. The PPL on the mini is also quite high. How is the mini's display compared to the Pro one, if you disregard pro motion? Granted those are much larger screens. In fact, the mini 5 has a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch (ppi) as opposed to 264 pixels per inch for the 11-inch Pro and the 12.9-inch Pro.
Ya I’ve decided to wait for new phones and enjoy the mini honestly. If you definitely want to upgrade your phone, get the XS Max and try it. If you find yourself not using the Mini enough, then return it. Similarly, if you think the XS Max isn’t enough of an upgrade over the X, return that. If neither apply, keep both.
I think I’d be tempted to wait though, since the current iPhones are already into the second half of their cycle.

True. Like I have the iPhone X and there are some things that make me want the xs max but the x has been working fine for me still. I’ve tried the max and kept getting duds out of the box. First year I officially didn’t upgrade my phone.Even if the latest phones had been launched yesterday, I still think it the better decision. To have 80% of all the latest phone offers as well as the mini seems, to me, at any rate, to make more sense than the latest phone and no mini.
The experience is totally different content wise on both devices.Should I get the XS Max and return Mini or just upgrade to the Max from my X and keep mini?
but i got the Iphone Xs Max, which does everything it does and more, sans apple pencil support, and i really dont need the Mini.
Didn't you just buy the Xs, return it, buy the Xʀ, return it, buy the mini, return it, purchase it again, and are now thinking of returning it again for another Xs/Xr.Should I get the XS Max and return Mini or just upgrade to the Max from my X and keep mini?
Want a new phoneDidn't you just buy the Xs, return it, buy the Xʀ, return it, buy the mini, return it, purchase it again, and are now thinking of returning it again for another Xs/Xr.
Why???????
Don't you have the X? Listen, I won't get on your case about it...I've been there, done that. I'm just trying to save you some money! However, if you reaaaallllllyyyy want it, and if it is financially stable, do it.Want a new phone
Gonna keep mini tho

The Xʀ does have a great battery life to it, however, battery life is dependent on how you use the phone. Not everyone is going to get the same 4-5 hours SoT as some people do.Ya I get you
I was honestly thinking of still trying to get a good XR cuz battery life and performance along with size.
Upgrade X to XR worth it if I can sell my X for around $600?The Xʀ does have a great battery life to it, however, battery life is dependent on how you use the phone. Not everyone is going to get the same 4-5 hours SoT as some people do.
No, its not worth it for what you lose. SmartHDR is great, but losing the telephoto lens, the OLED screen (if that matters), etc, isn't worth it tbh.Upgrade X to XR worth it if I can sell my X for around $600?
Better battery life, bigger display, better speakers, camera minus a telephoto lens, faster Face ID and processor, better value. In my opinion it’s a good upgrade especially being able to sell my current X for $600 or turn into apple for $500.No, its not worth it for what you lose. I think the Xʀ is an incredible phone, but a silly upgrade from the X unless there is another reason at play.
As someone that has used the X and Xs...the speakers aren't really a noticeable upgrade. However, if you that all makes you happy go for it.Better battery life, bigger display, better speakers, camera minus a telephoto lens, faster Face ID and processor, better value.
