At least you have working tracking... the only tracking that worked for me was apecode, and that started reporting errors yesterday before I got confirmation that the plane had even landed in Europe...

I suppose it'll be a nice surprise when it turns up :)

It is overloaded; just refresh it a couple of times and you'll get through :)
 
Hey, I now do have a carrier tracker number defined at Apple's Order Status page. I tried to use it on the TNT site but it did not work (yet?) though... Apparantly TNT uses a 9 digit code and this one is longer...

I don't think that's the problem - refreshing gets past the site's own SQL error, but then the tracking information itself is just an error message. It's been doing that since yesterday afternoon for me, no matter how many times I refresh or when I visit.

No tracking information on apple's tracking site either... my MBP could be anywhere :)
 
According to the Apecode forum the Kuehne & Nagel number is just temporary and will change pretty soon to another carrier. Maybe they are bundeling the MBP now with the other items I ordered (WORLD TRAVEL ADAPTER KIT-GEN & APPLE DVI TO VIDEO ADAPTER KIT-GEN)

Seems like K&N-carrier is just temporary.. Today I got assigned UPS as a carrier.. (My third carrier btw) and a long long 1Z-number and I can finally track it for real.(Hours n ****) My package left germany 2am this morning.

Well i've got Applecare as a merge-in-transit but thats now done online. Hope they aren't waiting for a box with applecare paperwork in it :/

Probably "merge in transit" means it'll go through the extended delivery chain, regardless of what will physically happen to the box on the way... so far their logistics don't seem to make a lot of sense to me!

My order hasn't been updated, so I'm still in the dark - they're estimating this weekend (or next Friday) still, though my card was charged last week.

*sigh* I've been refreshing that apple page all day and it's still with Kuehne & Nagel and has not yet been passed on to TNT.... Hope they will still deliver today (it's now 15:00) otherwise it will be tomorrow :S

Same situation here, I'm now addicted to looking stupid through the window. Everytime a car drives into the street, I want to run outside :D Yes, I don't have have a life ;)

4np what specs did you order your MBP with and when?

I think they are forgetting to build mine!

Seriously though at least they shipped mine *somewhere* (probably the Bermuda Triangle judging by the disappearance of tracking info).

If you ordered anywhere inside a couple of weeks of release and haven't had shipment news I'd be on the phone to Apple to ask what the problem is.

I have been on the phone today to apple (again), I ordered on the 5th June at 6:24. I said to them that others had ordered later than me with EXACTLY the same spec and are having theirs delivered..

He said that it can't be, because mine is a priority 1, I told him that I kow for a fact that glossy screens with 7200rpm are shipping to people in London - as usual they had no answer but instead said mine should ship tommorow, even though the estimated delivery is today!

I have no credit card activity - which he said happens after shipment? and I stil have the option to cancel. the people on the help desk just can't tell you what is going wrong - they either play the fool? or suggest that what you are telling them is incorrect, apple get your a*se into gear and check out your priorities!! :mad:

Doesn't work if you don't *have* a carrier tracking number!

Apecode stopped working for me yesterday so I'm pretty much in the dark until Apple want to update my tracking information themselves.
