I have to admit, I’m very impressed with the Note 10+ after watching many YouTube reviews of the phone. I know I would use the S Pen often, as there has been several times where I wished I could use one with my iPhone 8 Plus.

But I really disliked my experience with the Galaxy S8+. I absolutely hated it. The phone became almost unusable within six months; the lag was atrocious and the battery performance went down significantly. Also, I broke the screen on the phone and I had to wait *two* weeks for a replacement because Samsung had to wait for a new shipment to come in. They said the phone would be delivered the next day after I sent in my phone—after waiting for five days for the phone to be delivered, I had to call them to see what’s going on and that’s when they told me about the shipment issue. After I got the replacement phone, I switched back to iPhone.

I know the Note 10+ will lose its value in several months dollar-wise, so I might hold off and see what people say about its performance then before deciding on anything.
The S8+ was up there with my iPhone 6Plus for waste of money. It was a terrible phone. My husband and I had the same problems you had. It was hard to trust Samsung again but the S9+, s10+ and now Note 10+ have been excellent.

My husband is using his Note 10 as a daily driver since he got it. I wasn’t expecting him to do that because he was talking about how he never meant to actually see it shipped to him and was intending to send it back. I think he’s keeping it. He seems very taken with it.

I can’t really speak to battery life because AT&T has had some issues and I don’t know if that’s been addressed yet. I get through the day so there’s that.

None of my 3 old autos can do Android Auto or CarPlay at all, so I also can’t evaluate that aspect. I once stupidly thought my truck was doing CarPlay and Android Auto, but my husband explained just because I could play my music through the car stereo, doesn’t mean I have CarPlay or Android Auto. :p Derp duh derp. It has an in dash display but it only does proprietary stuff.

To be fair, it was when I’d finally stopped driving my 27 year old car daily and switched to a used truck of a more recent vintage. I was so dazzled by having windows that go up and down at the touch of a button I thought I was living on the cutting edge! :p

I did recently get a new small car. Alas, new is a relative term. It’s 10 years old. But it’s new to me! :D

Boy oh boy, the Samsung Notes app let's you set up 9 favorite pens. There is just so much to take in with this phone. It's one pleasant discovery after the next. I'm actually enjoying the time in learning all the features. Also, navigating with the Spen is quite satisfying. Even swiping on the keyboard gives a feel of accuracy and confidence a finger just can't give. When you're typing longer messages, and want to edit your message, the Spen is perfect for quickly and accurately placing the cursor where you want, and then continue swiping away. I honestly can't go back to a regular phone. Nope , not a chance. Another example, I'm using Samsung internet for browsing. I'm already used to pressing the Spen button for back and forth while browsing. The little things, It's ridiculous, but worth it. Everything I've read about Android flagships, and more specifically Samsung flagships (S and Note line) being unpolished and not iOS smooth, complete BS. This phone simply should not be compared to any other device. It's in a league of its own. I've got no doubt, if the iPhone was anywhere near as feature packed as the Note, the tech media would be hyping up every feature. The Apple fan base would be eating it up. And they would be right in doing so, because a feature set like this, on such a compact beautiful design, is absolutely praise worthy. It really is the complete package, or as Flossy put it, the Apex Predator.

With secure folder are we meant to have same contents across all our devices when sync is on?
I use the same Samsung account for s9+ and N10+ but N10 secure folder is empty and auto sync is on?

I am doing an experiment This post was made entirely in cursive using my S- pen! Wow hand writing recognition is amazing it is not perfect but you need to realize my handwriting is horrible But with practice this could become a viable method of enteri-ng posts. I need to get better with punctuation. I like that it takes my atrocious cursive handwriting and figures out the correct word and spelling ( most of the time)

Secure folder back-up is run from inside the secure folder you need to make sure that back-up and synch is also on then you will see multiple device backup linked to your Samsung account both normal and secure

I have a Note 9 and a Note 10 Plus, side by side in the hand a child’s review.

Note 10 Plus is notably thinner and lighter yet larger than the Note 9
In games, editing photos and video the 10 Plus is appreciably snappier.
Note 10 Plus at half Brightness is the Note 9 at 100% Brightness.
Lastly my Note 10 Plus gets reception in places the Note 9 just doesn’t

So I got a morning delivery

Has anyone else used Android Auto?

Having serious issues and so are a lot of people on Reddit where no audio will play (phone calls still work) with no clear fix or root cause issue.

I am still using my s9+ for car audio and all until things settle with Note 10+
