Did the YouTubers all do the install themselves? Or where the installs done by Whitestone? Because likewise I have seen some hit or miss reports on these.Interested in this as it made a mess of the fingerprint scanner on the s10 I had. Install was perfect and they changed instructions so you push down on the sensor area before the glue is fully cured but it was still very hit and miss
All YouTube reviewers say it's fine but if whitestone are paying for the review, reliability is heavily compromised
Yes I am worried because the factory ones do not protect against drops
I have never cracked my iPhone screens before but that is probably because I have always installed a glass screen protector which has done the job.
I have had internal debates with myself about the use of glass screen protectors. I have had a couple of them crack over the years, some for no particular reason (looking at you Griffin). I have also wondered if a couple have cracked due to the extra thickness they add to the screen causing them to be even with the built up edges of the protective cases such as the Otterbox. In short would the screen have cracked without the protector or did the protector crack due to the extra thickness causing it to not be able to avoid impact.
