Love it. Always preferred the more square corners of the Note line. Bring on the Note 10! #nevernotcher

I must admit that the Note 8 looks better at the back, if that's the finished product.
Think I prefer the curved look of the S9 plus. The note is a bit too boxy and square. The blue and gold might be a nice combo. A bit like the coral blue note 7. Still think the note 7 was the phone that got away.

The N7 looks old fashioned now with the home button and boxy camera module. The N8 is the best looking of the three IMO.

The brown looks nice. I’ve just bought the S9 plus but I could be persuaded to get the note 9 if they sell it well at the keynote.

I'd love to see Samsung bring back a white version, but leave the camera section black. And make it a bright white, not some off white color.

yeah, that would be cool. I'd also just like to see brighter colors as well. I do like these muted colors (not sure about the copper but it's growing on me) but bright colors would be cool too.

I had the original galaxy note and the S4 in white. Wanted the S5 and note 3 in white but they didn’t haven’t them in stock when I got those phones so ended up with different colours.

The iPhone X has a stunning white color, it's really more of a white/silver pearl color. I'd love to see that on any phone. It's the first white phone I've ever purchased.

I'd also love to see Samsung have more color options for the stylus, preferably without any cheap plastic chrome.

Pretty much Apple taking cues from the white/pearl Galaxy S6.

Glad for customers that Apple are breaking away from the cheap looking aluminum back with eyesore antenna lines of iPhone models up to iPhone 7 series.

Bored of all of these phones giving us the same shades.
Like co.ag says, give us bright colours.

Always good to have a trusty all black, or black / silver / white model, but throw a yellow one in for me haha.

There is no point anyone with a Note 8 or S9+ getting the N9 unless they have a ton of disposable income. They will be so similar in use. Wait for the N10 or S10+.

Honestly I could give a flying F who came out with the first white phone, lol. I know I've endured years of that fake, plastic chrome Samsung used to put on their phones, yeah that crap that would peel chrome paint after a few months. I remember that white S6, I thought about buying one but didn't like it so much in person, the white was nowhere near pearl IMO. Still it was a nice phone. But on build quality I have to hand it to Apple, the stainless steel band fits flawlessly and the look, heft and feel just scream quality. Even the newest S9 I don't get that heft and quality feel, especially where the band goes around. It's still an incredible phone overall, of course, but it's just missing something that I can't put my finger on.

Oh I do agree about the older aluminum backs, I always hated them, plus they scratched very easily and always needed a cover or skin. I've had my X naked since release and I'm not gentle on it, not so much as a swirl on it.

Probably wouldn’t get it. I was just saying it depends on what they say at the unpacked because all the leaks so far don’t sound like a compelling reason to upgrade. However they might suprise us.

What really makes me laugh is the folk who ran to 'upgrade' from the Note 8 to the S9+. I mean really? Sure on paper the camera is slightly better and of course the SOC benchmarks are better but in real world use there is very minimal difference. They're basically swapping the S-Pen for stereo speakers.

With most people on a 2 year plan and with smartphones costing so much these days even Samsung themselves don't expect Note 8 owners to get the Note 9. People moan about there being very little difference between the iPhones, Galaxies and other phones that release every 12 months but we're supposed to look at the differences between the Note 8 and Note 10, or the S9 and S11. Only OCD mobile nerds with big salaries buy these things yearly. Faffing about with new cases and screen protectors just to open a website 0.001% faster, or to get an hour's longer battery liife for hundreds of pounds more outlay. Meh.

I didn’t have my note 8 anymore when I got the S9 plus. So I got the S9 plus because it was the most current and I didn’t use the s pen. I’m upgrading my iPhone this year but that’s because I’m on a yearly upgrade program with O2. So it doesn’t cost me anything to upgrade. Of course I will have to consider if there will be any difference in tariff prices if I do the upgrade.

The stereo speakers are quite nice but if I still had the note 8 I wouldn’t upgrade.

What’s with the rumours if this maybe being the last note? Some youtubers were talking about it..surely not?
