Considering the S9/Note 9 are the Tock in the Tick/Tock cycle, just imagine how it will be in this section when the Tick of the S10/Note 10 arrive. That's when we should be seeing the new tech like the 7nm CPU, the under the display fingerprint sensor, new design, etc... I think macrumors will end up going offline. lol.
It will implode in hate

I cannot wait to give this Note9 a go. I am still not sure if I will be getting it, very much on the fence here!

Does anyone know if this uses the faster flash drive? 3.0 I think was being rumored, but haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.

I am weak and have no will power :(
Got my pre-order in for the blue (rather have black) 128.
Haha, I knew it!
The temptation was there for me but I resisted, lol.

I wait for you and the other Note 9 buyers to give us your thoughts :)

I'm a bit jealous, it looks like an awesome.e device.

The Note 8 should be a real baragin used here soon, shouldn't be an issue to get one for 3-400

I have a £300 discount code and a further 10% off yet I still can’t face pulling the trigger.

There are no free bundles/incentives here in the UK which is a bit of a shame.

£1099 or $1404 for the 512gb version.

It will certainly drop in price but is still a damn good phone.

As for the Note 9, Samsung spared no expenses, it's a flagship phone in every sense with no feature left out. The notch free face looks cleaner than anything out there.

Having watched all the hands on vids I could find, actually the display dimensions/size looks quite visibly different from the Note 8. I know it's only a millimeter here and there but with the thinner bezels and a tiny bit more width I'm actually liking the 9 a lot more. Doesn't look quite as unnaturally long as the 8. I'm really tempted at this point.

How do I get this £300 off code!?
That will help my decision.

I had a bit of a bad experience when with the S9 which had to be replaced twice. Unlike Apple, I had to deal with their online team and be without the phone twice.

As good will, they sent me a couple of £150 discount codes and a 10% off code for use on their online store for phones only.

Fair enough! Lucky you.
I need to find someway to reduce the RRP. :)

Also have an old iPhone 5c that I can trade in for £150. So it’s a good buy and the unboxing videos are tempting me...

So you could basically knock £500 off?

That sounds like a phenomenal deal, if you can do it.

I'm waiting for release, then will see if I can get the 8gb version from my T-mobile store. Hopefully turning in my S9+ on JOD for the Note 9 8gb version will still be completely free.

I'm seriously tempted.. the Note 9 or wait and see what Apple's "X Plus" looks (costs) like!? Argh!

Exact boat I am in.

Throw on that BB will do a solid trade in offer for an 6S Plus I have sitting around, 0% financing, and most likely able to sell if needed for more than purchase.....I am tempted to say the least.

Hoping BB or someone gets them in stores though soon so I can feel it in the hand.

TMO is changing JOD all the time and making it harder to use....they want more down to use JOD. I think they just changed their JOD policies.

Sounds like a good deal there mate if you like the Note 9.. your getting nearly 50% off net.

I can only manage only 20% off at launch for my efforts.. but wondering if I should wait it out for X Plus in September instead.. I think if the retailers included the free charger for the Note 9 instead of the galaxy Watch it would have pushed me over the line.

Saving grace is.. I have a S9 now and the user experience wouldn't be million miles away (minus S Pen functionality).

Yea I remember there was talk of a policy change last year that suppose to start in August. Forgot the details though.

But for the past several JOD jumps, including the S9+. I was able to trade my previous phone for a new flagship with no cost at release day. But pre-orders have always required money down. So hopefully it's the same. But I'm expecting to probably put something down for the 8gb version, would be lucky if I can get that for no cost too.
