Totally agree. I don't think the average consumer knows or cares what SoC comes in their phones.TBH, 99.9% of people who buy the phone probably a) wouldn't know what was in their phone and b) wouldn't know what a snapdragon was if you slapped them around the face with one.
In the real world it's really a non-issue. I have the UK varient of the S20+ and get 2-3 day's worth of battery life on average, never see/feel any stutter and don't notice any significant heat.
Then to the average consumer they will not notice and speed difference or battery life difference between the 2 models.
The differences are just not that noticeable.
Same thing goes for benchmarks.....they are nice little bragging points. But in the end the average consumer will not care or notice any difference in their everyday use.
The only people who care about this stuff is people like us in forums like this. Then we only make up (guessing here) 01% of the buying public.
