Many hours less screen on time for one.

If you are on the Samsung forms like I am, you will see people constantly up in arms that their non Snapdragon phones can never achieve the great SOT numbers.

This is also been born out in many test you can find on YouTube but is even more prevalent in real life
They seem to complain a lot on the android central forums. About everything.

Good news for UK people. Price is cheaper than expected

If it does not come with 16GB of RAM, it's a no for me. It's just a Note 10+ with a bronze color option. Minor upgrade. If the S20 Ultra 5G can come with it, the Note can as well. The ROG Phone 3 even comes with it.

512GB will likely come with 16GB of ram. Why is 16GB of ram needed? 12GB is more than enough

Cheaper than i thought for the 512GB, only £100 jump from 256GB o_O Also giving a free pair Galaxy Buds+ or Buds Live is a nice touch i think.
However i'm not sure that will be the case for those with a discount, my dad gets a discount from a lot of places with his DDS card (Defence Discount Service) here in the U.K. It will be interesting to see if that is applied straight away or not.

Yeah, I’ve never been in a situation where I‘ve used more than 8GB on my Note... and I monitor my RAM ridiculously. I keep that Device Care widget on my home screen. And part of the reason why I don’t see the reason to upgrade to the Note Ultra, Note10+ is already more than I can ask for.

Since the Note 10 launch, I started using Dex as a primary “windows“ computer replacement. Multiple multi-window apps. Smaller pin apps. I’ve recently also started to attempt 4K video editing from the phone itself. Granted I’ve never come close to 12 GB, but...

Yeah note 10 plus is still a beast. Only thing lacking is the cameras I guess. 60hz isn’t a huge deal as you still use the phone the same and iPhones won’t have it this year either

Fair enough, ok that case spending an extra 100 for more ram sounds like might be worth it.

256GB would be more than enough for me. Hell 128GB I think would be

Few bits he touched on that have put me off.

1. The note ultra screen is more curved than the s20 ultra

2. The battery size is less than the ultra. I didn’t rate the s20 ultra exynos battery life already at 5000mah so it’s concerning that the capacity on the note ultra is lower still

Think I’ll be swerving Samsung until next year and reassess then. Shame because I always have a samsung phone of some description.

I can't believe how bad this keynote is! Apple knocked it out the park with WWDC online. This Samsung Note 20 event is just embarrassing!!

Yeah, I couldn't bear more than a few minutes. Jumped in at some point and saw them demoing opening phone apps on a PC which looked cool, but then I had to stop the stream again. Looking forward to reading the recaps.

Yea, it's so bad, the thing is they are not even doing their products justice. The Note 20 they seemed to just skip over, then it was on to the tab, the live earbuds and so on. Not impressed at all.

Their presentations are always awful so i expected no different this year with no people...

their products though do look great. Ultra for the price is good value I must say given what the ultra price started at.
