I have the 11 Pro max right now and yea im aware of no 120hz on the 12 this year unfortunately but I do upgrade every year so I am excited for squared off iPhone 4 body. And the pro version this year will be the first ever phone have 10 bit colour support so the screen should look fantastic!. Is it possible the Note 20 ultra could get a software update which could force 120hz at WQHD?

Technically won’t be full 10 bit colour. Will be 8+2. I don’t think it can be switched on via software think it’s to do with the panels they use. Maybe S21 mount he e it I think it’s to do with battery life that’s all I can think of unless it’s display reasons

Notch is 10 times worse. Sometimes i even forget there is a whole on my N10+.

You know I’ve never been that bothered by the notch until I’ve seen videos of the note ultra then I look at my phone and realise damn that’s noticeable lol

Might be gone by note 21 or S22. If you hate the hole you would hate the notch lol

I find them both to be design flaws. I won't buy a phone with a notch or a hole in the screen as it bothers me likely more than it should. It's just too big of a design flaw. Someone made these phones thinking that putting a hole or notch in the screen looks better than a small bezel.

I can think of many reasons to not buy a phone but the tiny hole punch is not one of them, I literally forgot my Note 10 even has one.

It's too big of a design flaw for me. It's worse than having a pixel out. I can't even understand who thought putting a hole or notch in the screen of a phone was a good idea. I imagine people will look back on this in ten plus years and wonder the same thing. The big issue is every single good phone keeps doing this so my options are going to continue to get smaller unless they knock it off soon.

Each to their own but it's a logical thing to do to increase screen size and not phone size until they release phones with under screen cameras.

It's not a problem for the vast majority of users, so I don't they'll be looking back with regret.

I’m the same, it never really bothers me until I look at my 11 Pro Max compared to other devices (like the Note 10) on YouTube videos. unfortunately it looks a bit dated, they may reduce the size of the notch with this years iPhone 12.

From the rumours I’ve read it doesn’t sound like the 12 will be a really big upgrade.

I wonder how the weight distribution will be on the Note 20 Ultra compared to the S20 Ultra. Because that phone was really top-heavy.

At this point I'm not really bothered by any notches or punch holes anymore. For punch holes, I do prefer those in the corner as it looks less intrusive. And I don't love the "droplet" notches as they look kind of like a big ol' zit on the forehead...finally sold my OP 6T when that got too annoying. But overall these things don't bother me as much as they used to.

Some were adding it just to copy while still having a huge bottom bezel. At least Apple and Samsung have screens large enough. Very much each their own as I don't find it to be a logical choice to compromise the design so bad just to have a screen that goes end to end. I rather have a pop-up camera or bezel. I know, moving parts are bad. The people that look back and wonder what they were thinking will likely be people that never used these phones.

The people who never took the time to use them and find out they were making a mountain over a molehill?

I'm sure that's the case for some.

I have issues with a lack of symmetry and uneven design in anything.

Maybe if the Note 20 Ultra could blackout the top part of the screen (fake bezel) and have battery life, time etc.... and shift the screen down it could be doable. (I've screen that done on other phones to some degree)

Trust me you won't have more sophisticated design and shape like Samsung flagship phones

Haven't really followed any if the coverage of this phone. But I will start. My iPhone has 2 strikes this weekend. It's deleted all of my music. I had 30 GB of music downloaded to the device via iTunes and it's decided to delete the lot. Now I only have access to songs it can find a match for in Apple music. I still have all the music on my mac. I've ordered a CD and I'm waiting for it to come so I can rip it before I can rip it to iTunes and then go through the trouble of connecting to iTunes and transferring it all over again. You know where all my music is stored faithfully though in google play music and YouTube music. It's not the first time that iTunes/Apple have messed something up and google has helped me to retrieved it.

Another issue is that my iPhone is a complete lemon in hot weather. It just dims to the point of you not being able to see the screen at all. The cameras go all funny, some pics are burry and the lenses take ages to start up.

I need a phone to work. Samsung are doing all the right things. Having 3 years of updates, they are really focusing on the ecosystem and they actually listen to customer feedback. I will investigate the note and all the other devices they announced and see if they can replace what I've got. My husband got a windows 10 desktop last month and I actually can't fault it. Windows 10 has improved a lot.

I get why the notch is there because of Face ID. However, Most android phones simply look way better and the in display FPS is good enough. I'm getting fed with Face ID now that we have to wear masks. I wear a mask all day at work and having to type my passcode in is annoying me.

The iPhone looks old and antiquated.

Typing experience is outstanding. I have used a lot of keyboards over the years and the typing on it is top draw. The backlit I like as it adjusts to the Lightning. I know some don’t like that as they would rather want real function keys to adjust it.

Only downside to the magic keyboard is no function keys to play and pause and to adjust lightening.

This obviously cost me £350 but given how much I use it I love it and worth it to me.

The material isn’t the best which is why I put a skin onto it so it no longer will look worn down on a long period of time
I have the smart keyboard at the moment but I've used the logitech keyboard with trackpad on my 10.5 and I really liked the function key row and the adjustable kick stand. I'm not sure now if I should get the logitech keyboard for my 11 inch pro or just get the magic keyboard. I really liked the function keys.

I’m a bit undecided so far on whether I want to upgrade from my s20 ultra. It’s a decent phone but the camera focus is crap, a big issue for me And am just not a fan of the cameras. The weight I don’t like either and thickness.

I also want a smart watch but the new Samsung Watch design looks a bit cheapo in the vids guess I need to hold judgement until I can see one in person. Otherwise I might go to apples 12pro and watch this year instead.

I was determined not to pre order this phone. I’m still concerned about battery life considering the s20 ultra wasn’t brilliant and has a bigger battery.

think part of the problem is that my 11 pro max is a battery champ. Crazy SOT, never need to charge it through the day.

Which iPhone do you have now? The Note 20 Ultra is supposed to have a 25% brighter screen than the iPhone 11 Pro Max when outdoors.

Almost 10 000 reviews 4.5 out of 5 is excellent .
On the second picture s20 ultra's battery got excellent review as well.

So either you have a bad phone or not using it efficiently.
