My Galaxy Watch Active just arrived. I don’t have an S10 to connect it to. I guess I’ll try my Pixel 3XL for now. It could be another two weeks until I see the S10.

The watch is about the same thickness as my Apple Watch but the Apple Watch has tapered edges that make it seem thin. The Galaxy Watch Active looks thick. But it’s not the dinner plate on my wrist that my other Galaxy watches have been. It’s beautiful and I love it so far. The band is nice.

I may just leave it be and let my husband set it up with his phone. His watch hasn’t shipped yet.

I really like this, the reason I had to sell my Gear S3 back in 2017 was because it was too thick and big to fit up my sleeves when I wore my work shirts!!

The Apple Watch was fine before, so seeing the Galaxy Watch Active is the same thickness is very reassuring.

Now I have the Lean Launcher installed, (and a new icon pack which has changed Samsung's awful stock apps to Google-ified ones) - I'm much happier.
Check them lovely icons out. :D

What icon pack is this? I really like it.

I said i will review the iPhones come September but from all reports it will be a disappointment given they still plan on shipping a 5w charger in the box. Will see i guess but i’m Not expecting anything too great from apple these days.

Lol 5w charger please is that your gripe. I never use the charger in the box. Wireless at home/office and If I am travelling I charge in the car.
sooner they get rid of the charge port the better, dust collector.

No it's just one of the issues apple are poor at and behind in. It annoys me how apple are ripping off their customers with half the features while charging hundreds more

Should of got a note 9 then, you can’t do anything more on your S10 than your max, just different ways of doing, don’t say split screen as that’s rubbish on a phone screen. Or widgets so old school.
If you think the s10 is such a terrible phone then why are you posting in a thread where people actually own and are enjoying the device? Enjoy whatever phone you are using and chill.

It's the principle of the thing. Apple is charging $1k+ for the device and the only quick charge they themselves provide you with is to go spend another $60+ on their bigger brick and cable. At least there are cheaper third party options out there. It's fueled by nothing but greed and the urge to eek out every last dime of margin they can. Just put a damn quick charge brick in the box ffs. I'll wait for your rebuttal.

Exactly...don't you guys get it yet. Cladtser is just here to troll the thread and best to be ignored. All he has done is put down the S10 and Samsung and told us how great his iPhone Xr is.....

And you know what's crazy the XR 128GB costs the same as the 128GB S10.. Talk about daylight robbery.. And people think XR is the budget device

Different colors for different apps? I don’t have an S10, so I can’t test it out.

Yup, you choose which apps have which colour, and also the patterns etc.

This isn't just for the S10 range. Can be used on any phone with OLED or AMOLED display.

Can anyone help me with this? I don't want my S10 to display the big, floaty clock that I've taken a pic of here, which seems to kick in after a while (especially when charging on my nightstand - it's way too bright). I only ever want to see the always-on screen that shows the small clock plus notifications (in the second pic). I cannot find where in the settings to switch the big floaty one off. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

grain of salt those, real life is the key, and they don't take battery drain into account, i get 2 full days out of a Xr with moderate use, no Samsung phone could do that.
[doublepost=1552518657][/doublepost]

so next year when you are back to all in Apple again, will you be bagging Samsung again ;) flip flop flip flop :)
If I charge my s10+ to around 95% before I go to bed, I'll still have 50% left 24 hours later. So it's easily a 2 day with moderate use phone.

Whether the XR has a better battery or not is irrelevant anyway. It could last all week and I still wouldn't buy one because its not the phone I want. I'm in this thread to talk about a product I'm interested in. You wouldn't see me posting in a Nokia thread boasting how much better certain aspects of my current phone is.

Reminds me of music 'stans' on twitter who think by berating someone's fav singer, they'll convince them not to like them anymore. lol

I finally have a print registered on my husband's S10+. My print worked well initially but I can see it will take practice to where I can unlock fast on picking up the phone.

I remain torn on the S10+ vs S10e decision. My husband is sending his trade in S9+ in today so the clock is ticking on me deciding which of my pre-orders to keep. I was very impressed by the reviews and comments about battery life for the S10e. I know it's "only" running at 1080p but that's still impressive.

Oh I should add I probably will also get a Note 10 if they keep the headphone jack. That would probably be my iPad Mini replacement, and run on WiFi. I hope that one is huge! Uh oh I'm sounding like my buddy @Oohara. :D

I’m honestly not sure if this says more about the S10 or all of the other android devices on the market...

He slams the FPS, the camera, the charging, and of course the slow updates and still says “this is the android phone to buy”. That’s actually kind of sad.

Says more about the reviewer than the phone or android

There's nothing I can really fault about this device. FPS will get better in time and there's even another update coming

I only got through about 5 minutes of their review podcast. They were moaning from the start and then they trashed the display and design and was like ok you're still a bunch of haters. They have always been anti Samsung. They are good for APKs though lol
[doublepost=1552571791][/doublepost]Why are Apple so restrictive. I upgraded my Apple music subscription to the family one so my husband could use it on his note 8. Sent him the invitation and he still hasn't been able to accept it.

I gotta say the S10+ has exceeded my expectations. The phone is extremely fast and the camera is fantastic! The FPS was slow and missed the mark until the software update. I deleted and readded my fingerprints again and it has made a world of difference! It is super fast now.

I am torn between keeping the S10+ or Pixel 3XL.

I want to look at the S10 5G. It has the size I like. It is more like what the Note 10 will be. Not getting it for 5G as that service won't be fully deployed until next year.

Just so we are clear:

If the reviewer says the phone is amazing then they are to be praised, but when they say the FPS is the biggest downside of the phone they aren’t to be trusted?

They say at the top of the review that the Display is the best in the business??

S10e has received a ton of acclaim despite its more barebones offering. My FP sensor is beginning to work better. I was watching a video where someone just does a slight tap and it works. I’ll try to work with it. I still have a week before I have to make a decision on returning it or not. I may get this thing to work after all. But a part of me wants to return it and wait for the S10+ prices to drop so I can see what WWDC holds.
