Are you using the facial detection? I would avoid that because it’s not worth the convenience on the S10e. I hate the FP sensor location too, so I am sending my S10e back. I’ll probably wait to buy the S10 or S10+ at a later time.
Yeah, I'm using facial detection. I know it's not the most secure, but the convenience is worth it to me. That's why I included faceid as an advantage for the iPhone, that's the gold standard.

I can’t wait for the in-display FP sensors to get better because the power button is a horrendous spot to keep it in. I’ll try it out and see if I like it. I don’t want to be forced to use a passcode or pattern unlock with a future Galaxy purchase.

I love the S10e hardware and software wise. But no reliable and ergonomically sound biometrics isn’t worth a $700 price tag.

Yup. If they are going to keep the reader, I wish they had kept it on the back, much easier to reach and the swipe down gesture was a lot more convenient. Hoping the S10e is a big enough success that will do a follow up next year, and maybe we'll get the under display reader. I do wonder how long until they can match FaceID, that is best IMO.

The 5G version already has the tech(hardware), so a FaceID equivalent will most likely come with the Note 10.

That would be amazing. Maybe I’ll wait for the Note 10 to be on sale. My iPhone can hold out long enough lol.

Yup, you choose which apps have which colour, and also the patterns etc.

This isn't just for the S10 range. Can be used on any phone with OLED or AMOLED display.
So question. I downloaded the app, and can't find a way to turn the ring on for notifications??

decided to get a tab S4 to go with my added Samsung ecosystem. Nice option for a smaller tablet on the sofa e.t.c when I don't want to handle my 12.9 pro. have missed the S pen I must admit.

had serious issues with my galaxy watch as it barely lasted a full day...a reset seemed to have fixed the issue.

Theres a few options to go through, make sure you tick "when a notification comes" and go through them settings. Then select "around notch only" under "enable edge lighting".

Think I saw someone posted a guide on youtube with all the settings.

A solid 7 hours SOT, using 85% battery. Not going to keep checking on it, it's an all day battery at least and that's good enough for me.

I found it a nice change going from a Pixel 2 XL on Android to an XS Max on iOS. But I've found it much more fun returning to Android with the S10+.

I'm sure I'll be checking out what's on the Note 10 but the Pixel 4 is my only major interest right now. Can't see the next iPhone tempting me back.

For those who are hesitant to install Gcam, you definitely should.

These pictures were both taken within 15 seconds of each other. One Gcam nightsight , and one stock camera.

So do all your photos still come through via the app your normal gallery?

Think it would be usefil for night shots but stock camera for normal shots.

Yup comes through on regular gallery.

Doing a bunch of A-B testing and finding I usually prefer. The Gcam Shor. Especially for selfies, Gcam is much better.

Guessing I have snapdragon if I'm UK based
We have the Exynos in the UK.
[doublepost=1552733937][/doublepost]
There’s a link in this Reddit chat about someone getting it to work for the exynos chip

https://www.reddit.com/r/galaxys10/...0_exynos/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app

I saw that but also a lot of people having trouble getting it to work properly. Hopefully in the coming weeks they’ll be something much more stable.

Do you mean because the SD would have worse battery life?

I was under the impression the SP was suppose to have better battery life.

My battery life has been good enough to last all day but not reached 6 hours screen time yet. Not that it matters much as long as it lasts me all day that’s what matters and with fast charging in the box a quick 30 mins charge gets me up to 50% easily it’s not a big deal not when I work in an office.

I’ve been considering returning mine to buy the China SD version because the 512gb is £200 cheaper than here & 128gb £170 cheaper. Plus I’d have access to the Gcam apks. Increased battery would be the icing on the cake.

Found out where my leather case got to.
Rocking it now, I absolutely love it. Surprised at how much I like it as I'm really not a case guy normally but it adds just the right amount of grip and very little bulk.

It also looks really nice too. Definitely considering picking up some more of these.

So are you keeping your S10 now?
