I actually used to make phone calls almost exclusively on my Android phones, especially my Samsungs, because the call quality in all of my iPhones was so bad. My Xr is the first iPhone I've owned in years, maybe the first one ever, that sounds good as a phone.

It sounds like the S10E falls apart for you ergonomically as a phone due to being too small. It may be preferable in size for every other function but awkward as a phone. Everything you've described reminds me of the awkwardness I've felt using an iPhone SE as a phone. I used to smash it into my cheek while trying to adjust my grip on it.

But it also sounds like the screen fails to turn off properly when in use as a phone and this may relate back to the proximity sensor bug that's letting the phones turn on in pockets.
It happens on my Pixel as well. I just disabled "increase touch sensitivity" for the display on the S10e so maybe that will help.

I just got an email about a $50 credit for buying the S10e. Does anyone know where that credit shows up?

Guess what......my FREE Galaxy Buds work really well with my Xs Max too!

As an iOS user, I can see why some long time iOS users can feel overwhelmed by the settings and customization options of Android. At the same time, there's no doubting how premium the S10 looks and feels. The temptation grows. The iP11 better impress.

Any recommendations of these......

First time buying portable speaker.

Depends how portable you want. The Boom 3 is great and indestructible outdoors. I assume that's true as I've the 2, which refuses to die, so never needed look into replacing it. Great little thing. Often use it in the shower to start the day.
Would want something more elegant with a bit more punch like the Bose if it was going to live mostly in the house.

By the time you get up to the battery-less ones there like the B&W, in terms of price, sound and size, you might as well start investing in a Sonos setup. Especially now they've started making Airplay 2 compatible ones in case you ever switch again.

Is there any way to see the Buds battery life apart from the wearable app?
On the S10, install the SmartThings app and when they are connected you'll get a "SmartThings Panel" in the notification/quick settings panel where you can quickly check the Buds juice. See image attached.

Also, the Sigrid album I'm listening to is incredible. Highly recommended for any fans of pop music.

It's certainly an adjustment that's for sure and is not a quick adjustment but once you do the options to do what you want are endless

It certainly is.

Bit it's the little things like remembering my preferred wifi and enabling wifi when I get home in order to connect to my preferred wifi without having to use routines or automation.

From the pull down notification under SmartThings. You might have to install the SnartThings app if it's not already installed. (I forgot if it came as default)

Just downloaded it do you have to add the devices on manually?

Those of you who are using them now, how is the auto brightness on these phones?
I think it's great. You have to manually adjust in the beginning so adaptive brightness learns what you like, but I haven't had to touch it in a few days now.
