That's awesome! This is what I love coming from an iPhone. You can have any shortcut on screen.

One of my favourites is WhatsApp shortcuts for frequent contacts.

Do you find with adaptive that it disables QHD res and puts you in HD?
It only goes goes to HD when it reaches 15% but that's when it goes to medium power saving mode as I've set it to go to HD when medium power mode is on

Ok cool. For me, when I enabled adaptive power mode, it switched me between optimised and medium and in turn reduced to HD.

S10+ just arrived.

Wowzers. Much prefer it over the regular S10 size wise.
Feels great. The white also looks so much better than I originally thought, and I like that the headphones and plug etc are white too! That’s a nice touch!
They were all black for my S10.

Now to set up again.

Yeah should only switch to HD if you have it to in the settings
Perfect, thank you.

I've just nablled APM andupdated the setting not to change back to FHD if APM enables the medium setting.

Off the charger this am at 10 and I'm on 87% which is really good.

How are you getting on with the S10 Plus compared to your iPhone 2 weeks in? I'm an iPhone person and have been for the last 11 years or so but I'm absolutely loving the freedom of this S10 plus and love the quality of the ceramic. I feel like a system admin rather than just a user.

I'm thankful that I have the means to switch as and when I like, keen to see what the pixel 4xl and the note 10 have to offer.

I'm loving mine and I can't believe what I've been missing.

Even something as simple as pop up for texts or picture in picture for youtube and even BT sport

Battery life is getting better and I love how I can make this phone what I want and have widgets for quick access news without needing to go into the app and of course how much better media is to watch.

I'm finally getting value for money with Samsung devices while on iPhones I feel like I've been conned with what it gives me

You bring up a good point about value for the money spent. There's just so much to this phone that while phone costs are completely understandable, I feel a bit better about getting over the money. Also, Samsung has amazing trade in deals that saves the trouble of selling the old phone and shipping it.

Agreed and you get freebies like the Buds which cost £140

Be like apple giving away air pods with each iPhone

I've had to go back to on screen nav buttons with the Plus as I find the phone slightly too big to one handed swipe up for back / recents.

But I'm quite enjoying using them, and it shifts the keyboard up by a fair bit because of it which is making typing an absolute dream.
Coupled with the wider display compared to the reg S10 and it's really satisfying so far.

Yeah I am enjoying them. Especially now I've added a screenshot button to the bar too. No more fumbling to press the lock and vol down buttons!

OK so far in my battery test for today not really noticed any difference from having night mode off and switching from black background to a blue home screen wallpaper

Looking set to get over 6 hours screen time again today. Finished with 6 hours, 35 mins yesterday

About to head to gym and do my first workout with the Galaxy Buds.
Rock freaking solid gym experience. An hour of treadmill, elliptical and a little weights. Never felt once like they would fall out or that I even needed to adjust them. AirPods don't fall out on me either, but they feel like they might from time-to-time so I'm constantly adjusting them, even if I don't have to. Connection was rock solid of course, and I only lost 10% battery in that hour. A+ gym experience.

Great to hear can't wait to try mine in the gym. Want to use my galaxy watch with them hopefully for easy pairing

Costco has a monster deal for T-Mobile customers: $599 S10e and $649 for the S10. I got the S10 because the $50 difference nets me a telephoto lens, an in display FP sensor, 2 extra GB of RAM, a larger display QHD display. An easy purchase imo.

Adios iOS.
Nice! Happy New Phone Day.
