I think it's great. You have to manually adjust in the beginning so adaptive brightness learns what you like, but I haven't had to touch it in a few days now.
Thanks, very nice to hear! On my 6T it's a real headache so I have to use manual o_O

Went into Samsung today, didn't end up purchasing the S10 Plus.

I only went over to the display of them and had 3 people all come up to me to ask if I was ok, despite the three of them being huddled together when I walked in, so they each knew that I'd already been approached.

I was in there for all of 2 minutes and felt like I was being urged to buy something so ended up walking out. I did ask one of them what stock they had and they only had black, so I left.

I knew I could order one online for delivery tomorrow, so that's what I did. Prism White. Excited for the larger device.

If it's your first portable speaker, then I recommend this ....

JBL Clip 3 Portable Waterproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker
Small size, big sound. $50

Depends how portable you want. The Boom 3 is great and indestructible outdoors. I assume that's true as I've the 2, which refuses to die, so never needed look into replacing it. Great little thing. Often use it in the shower to start the day.
Would want something more elegant with a bit more punch like the Bose if it was going to live mostly in the house.

By the time you get up to the battery-less ones there like the B&W, in terms of price, sound and size, you might as well start investing in a Sonos setup. Especially now they've started making Airplay 2 compatible ones in case you ever switch again.

Thanks guys appreciated. My budget is between $100-$150 so i guess plenty of choice there.

On the S10, install the SmartThings app and when they are connected you'll get a "SmartThings Panel" in the notification/quick settings panel where you can quickly check the Buds juice. See image attached.

Also, the Sigrid album I'm listening to is incredible. Highly recommended for any fans of pop music.
Thumbs up on the album recommendation.

So, I've seen on YouTube that Sanpdragon US models are getting around 8 hours SoT while Exynos models are getting around 4-5 hours SoT.

Also, on speed tests, the Exynos is quite a bit slower too. That's not very good when you consider my S10 plus was £1099.

Yeah it's a shame but my battery is getting better

It's lasted me all day easily and on heavy use today

Could likely get close to 7 hours before it dies

It almost seems like it does some machine learning. The battery life gets better over time as the phone learns how we use it.
My battery life is about the same as yours.....about 6 hours SOT average and some days I could get 7 if I really pushed it.

How long have you had your devices?

I got my replacement (due to screen issues) last Friday. Maybe the AI is still learning but today has been better for me.

Very true

I started off only getting 4 hours usage and it seems to be getting higher and levelling out

Great fab. So there’s hope then.

What settings do you run with, screen, AOD and optimisations?
Have auto off, AOD on tap to wake, Adaptive power saving on

Night mode on all the time and black background but I'm trying colourful background and night mode off til 6pm and see if it makes any difference

Anyone use either the Samsung official leather and silicone cases? Curious how they are and if they have good grip.

I have the official navy leather case. It's awesome. After a few days of oily hands touching it the grip is great. I don't know if you have experience with the Apple leather cases, but those are great and the Sammy versions are essentially thinner carbon copies. All the way down to the metal color-matched buttons.

Nice! I've always been a fan on the official Apple leather ones and I definitely don't mind a thinner version of that.

You definitely like it then imo. The dilemma for me is I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want to use a case on it. I love the feel of it without a case and I don't find it difficult to hold.

Yep I'm like that with every phone ever. Haha!!!

Another thing. I'm glad Gboard works so well. And the pitch black theme looks perfect with the stock night mode.

Sure can! I discovered that when I had the Pixel for a short time. Not only playlists but artists. So if I want to go to Biffy Clyro's page I just click on the icon and choose one of their albums.
That's awesome! This is what I love coming from an iPhone. You can have any shortcut on screen.

One of my favourites is WhatsApp shortcuts for frequent contacts.

Do you find with adaptive that it disables QHD res and puts you in HD?
