Not to talk badly about the S10, but the one thing that completely sticks out to me now that I switched to the XS is the power button location. What in the hell was Samsung thinking with that location? LOL!

Hope I don't piss anyone off with that. Still an awesome device. :)
Many people use their phones differently to others :)

I would be exaggerating if I use my power button more than 3 times in a week :D

So I have no idea why you found it a problem :) sounds like an Iphone habit :D

UK user here, my Buds arrived on Tuesday which was great after having my claim accepted on the 15th March.

I got an email the same day saying that they were having issues with stock and that they would come within 10 days.

Lol. Only time I use the power button on my Xs max is when it freezes and I reboot it!

it is too high, even on the S10e I'm trying out now. For a smaller phone, I still have to do hand gymnastics to reach that button with my thumb. It's not terrible but do wish it were lower.

So you just let the screen turn off on it’s own then? You never lock it manually?

Have you restarted the phone since you inserted the T-Mo SIM? I'm curious to know what carrier logo screen you get when you restart the phone, Verizon or T-Mobile.
Took me about an hour today, but I was able to toss windows on via boot camp and flash The t-mobile firmware to rebrand the phone. Its surprisingly simple to do. I had it completely unbranded first, but decided that I wanted VoLTE, and RCS. Two things that you won’t get on T-Mobile unless you’re running their firmware.

The thread has been cleaned up. Please stay on topic, this isn't a discussion about how well the Galaxy stacks up again the iPhone or which phone is better.

If you wish to discuss the Galaxy, please do so, otherwise please move on.

Odd issue with my S10 this week. Mine ate through its entire battery, even in power saving mode over the course of 7 hours. Seems I had unknowingly allowed Shazam to actively listen and we had music playing all day long. I went to pick up my phone and couldn't get it to turn the screen on and then felt the warmth from the back. Charged it to 100% and went through it but couldn't figure out what had occurred until I went through all my apps settings. It's the only explanation as I tried the same thing today and it's worked just fine. Uninstalled Shazam.

I'm a little annoyed because I rarely ever fiddle with silly options like that. It should at least have a cut off. What's odd is you have to enable auto detect, and you have to dive into the settings. Which I've never done. This was before the April 18 update.

So I’m seeing that upcoming one plus 7 pro is going to have a curved display. So now we have 2 other major android OEMs using curved displays. Some people wrote off curved displays as a gimmick. Years down the line it’s becoming a different story.

As long as it doesn’t become the standard. I can’t stand them. Even on my P30 Pro I’m not a fan of it.

You would be surprised just how much better it feels in hand. Honestly I prefer a flat display but I can see the advantages of a curved screen.
They do feel a little better (I'm comparing S10+ & P30 Pro to iPhones I've had) but not so much I'd prefer them over a flat display.

It’s got to the point now where I have to leave power saving mode on. Which isn’t a big issue as all the settings are the same with QHD screen on. Just the CPU speed is lower and background apps are cleaned off.

With this on i have got about 5-6 hours screen time as previously for a few days was only getting 4-5 hours screen time. It lasts me all day from getting up at 5am til bed at 23.00 so not big issue.

My main issue currently is a bit of a deal breaker and this issue isn’t down to the S10 as it is an amazing device.

It’s Spotify issues.

When I use my galaxy buds every 10-15 secs the music just stops and i have to tap the bud to continue playing the song. I diddn’t Know if this was a Spotify issue or galaxy buds issue.

However when i use Bluetooth music in my car via Spotify it’s the same issue. I have to tap my phone screen which i leave on my seat and have to tap it each time to play music and it’s got to the point where it’s becoming unbareable.

Also my galaxy watch while is good i have missed my Apple Watch badly lately. More for music than anything else. Least with my Apple Watch and air pods i never needed to touch my phone. Just put in the air pods and click music on my Apple Watch and the way i went with no issues and no drop outs.

On the galaxy watch when i go into the Spotify app it never finds the fact i have the galaxy buds in so i have to unlock my phone to then play Spotify for it to come through to my buds.

So all in all when people talk about the ecosystem this is the benefits that it brings and flawless connection.

The buds work great syncing wise on my S10 plus but i can not get it to work on the tab S4 at all. Where air pods would connect straight away to my iPad as well.

Notifications is another big issue that i have tried to get on with but it has got frustrating and is becoming more a deal breaker.

Notifications do not come through when they should. It’s become very frustrating where notifications on my iPhone and iPad come through straight away while i can wait sometimes 10 mins for my notifications come through on my galaxy watch if i don’t touch my phone for a certain amount of time. Nothing worse than 10-15 notifications coming through on my watch all at once.

Due to these issues I have ordered the nike series 4 Apple Watch and the new air pods and use both side by side for a while to see what’s the best for my daily life. I love my S10 plus and don’t want to get rid of it at all but these issues are real issues and when you are spending over 1K for the phone and watch these aren’t issues you want to deal with.

Maybe this is mainly a Spotify issue with the music cutting out. Maybe you guys have had no issues? If there are things i could change i will be open to suggestions.
