When I first saw the S10 renders I wasn't happy with the camera hole, but I'm really starting to like it the more I look at it. However, I'm not liking the One UI videos I've watched on YouTube. I know there are a lot of people here who disagree with me and prefer the Samsung way of doing things, but I just find stock Android to look much better.

I returned my Pixel 3 because I didn't like the hardware. Samsung does a much better job with phone designs, and my S8 in comparison felt like a better device than Pixel 3. Ugh! I wish I could get an S10 with stock Android.

Stock Android looks great but boy is it functionally worse.

I’ve made no secret of the fact that Samsung phones are not my bag.
But I love the look of the S10’s.

I still wouldn’t buy one as I don’t like their UI at all or their screens (controversial I know).

This red one though. What a unique colour way. I hope it looks like that!

Design-wise, i've never liked their corners & overall shape, but without bezels, they look pretty slick. I'm a screen protector user for my phones though, & those infinity displays are apparently difficult to find decent, curved protectors for.

If they went a flat screen, i'd find them even more appealing, though I get the love of the screen 'dripping' off the edge. Just find it more form over function imo.

Hope these speculated designs turn out to be true. Any bezels larger than those predicted won't get my approval. :D

We are the same re the curved screens and screen protectors. The money I wasted when I tried the S8 on protectors! And none of them worked.

I liked when they did the S7 and the S7 Edge. That was a pretty good idea but they must have sold more Edges to make the phones that have come after all the same design language.

It’s one of the reasons the Pixel 3 hasn’t grabbed me (along with many, many, many other reasons), as it’s a little bit Samsung in design.

I gave up on screen protectors. I find that Samsung’s folio/wallet cases work very well for me. They protect the display nicely and keep the phone sleek.

I can put up with a little bit of edge. The S9+ edge is fine with me. I prefer flat but can tolerate the edge as it has been refined to on this model. However, I think it’s silly to have curves on a Note. Writing surfaces should be flat.

If it's any help, I got this screen protector from aliexpress..

0.2mm UV Liquid Full Glue Tempered Glass Screen Protector For Samsung Galaxy S9 S9 Plus Note 9 2PCS Glass 2PCS Glue 1 Big Light
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/c6EBXX6g

It's a good full adhesive tempered glass protector that plays nice with my case.

Its messy to apply, but good old ip68 helped there.
Kinda like a white dome but so much cheaper

Yep I like the LED covers as they have almost full edge protection, just the bottom is only corners

I know many of you dislike the edge curvature but I am a fan simply as I have a minimalist home screen with no icons and use the edge panel for my most used apps etc

The curve makes it an almost natural swipe with your thumb and the LED case cut out near power button makes a good guide on most Galaxy's

Eww curved edges. :p

Okay now that I’ve got that out of the way, I hope that Instagram leak shows the real thing because it looks sweet.

I admit I’m on a second honeymoon with my Pixel 2 right now, but if the S10 functions as well as my S9+ does it’s going to be very hard to resist. However I would have to now trade my S9+ in for it and I don’t know if I’m brave enough to do that at preorder time. I may need some of you friends on the bleeding edge to “guinea pig” it for me. :D

This one is really going to show off all the new hotness Samsung can throw at it.

Lol looks like I was pwned. It’s an Oppo! Wow. Looks good whatever the hell it is!

I'm with you on the curved edges! And I've heard from plenty of others who would be happy without it. At least this tech will be driving the rest of the industry as well, so there should be a lot of good options in the future besides Samsung.

More from ice universe. Here's the bottom bezel of the S10+ in comparison to the iphone X and Mate 20 Pro. Now you add to the fact the side bezels of the Galaxy S line are non existent, and you get one high screen to body ratio. This is gonna be amazing. The notch started with the Essential phone, then Apple copied it, then the rest of the Android OEMs followed after that. And now with Samsung being the pioneer that it is in Display tech, we will soon see all others follow with the punch hole display, including Apple.

Bunch of bullocks. Apple copied a design element for a phone that was released two months prior to the "x"? Really?

And now you believe Apple is going to copy an hole asymmetrically placed in the display area?

Bookmarked for posterity.

Why not? It looks better than the notch imo. Just because you disagree does not mean Apple does.
Want to place a bet? Don't know how we will settle or collect. If apple thought an asymmetrically placed hole in the display area was better than the notch they would have done it in the first place. Apple doesn't need the likes of Samsung to tell them it was okay or not to design a phone as such.

Oh you mean how many believed Apple wouldn't make a screen larger than 4 inches because they were so about the one handed use? Or they would never use AMOLED because it's so inaccurate in color reproduction. Alrighty then.
