I don't use the finger print scanner on my S9 so no big. Is that all it is missing? The word "lite" seems to me it doesn't have up to date other things.

It's expected to have fewer cameras and smaller screen than the other S10 models, but otherwise should still be an upgrade over S9.

And now, courtesy of Ice Universe, the battery capacity for each version.

Might be time to throw Samsung in the bushes since no flat screen on expensive versions. The lite has no in screen for fingerprint sensor and that's a huge blow. I don't use Samsung pay that much if this is true.

I want a flat screen nig screen phone no more curves.

Wireless charging is slow anyways, I'm close to just leaving. That curved screen makes no sense outside of looks.

No sense to you but if you use the edge panel it may, wireless charging is not compulsory, your current Samsung does not have in-screen fingerprint sensor

There are plenty of other OEMS out there enjoy :)

Wouldn't upgrade to the ten if what I'm hearing is true. Wireless charging is still slow, it's convenient In case you break the charging port but slow.

I will wait for the release and see what to do. I want a front fingerprint sensor without the curves.

Are reports mentioning how secure Face ID may be with the 10?

Will it be ok for payment approvals for eg?

How would you hold the iPhone or any phone if it had no bezel? The bezels on the iPhone X line is so small you don't see it. It is the notch that is worse. And I like the 4 mm bezel over Samsungs annoying, useless curved screen on my note 9. So many accidental touches, distorted picture near the end and can't use the S-pen on the curves.
Yeah I don’t mind the curves on my S9+ but I don’t think I want to chuck my money on a Note with curved edges. It was a bit annoying on my Note 7 but at least that phone didn’t cost what Note phones cost at launch now.

A. My Note 9 has less edge and doesn't have thetrounded corners of the S9+. If Sammobile etc are right, the S10 is going in that direction, flater.

We are going to have to agree to disagree. I feel that the hole in a random spot will be worse for actually using the phone than a notch.
Equally bad imo.

Man I would like to just sit all these phone manufacturers down and say: Guys, just take a moment and BREATHE! A tiny bit of frame around the screen isn't going to kill anyone or rupture anyone's pockets, and that would give you ample space for all the sensors and cameras you want. And you wouldn't have to force all these aesthetically awkward solutions. Phones don't have to look like the old iPhone Plus series just because they have a little bezel around the screen.

Bezel != satan.

Yep...disagree with you...the hole no matter where it is.....is better than a notch to me....
The teardrop doesn't look bad either. But at least they went in their own direction and didn't follow the rest of crowd that just copied the notch.....

I can't help but feel the Apple diehards are bitter Samsung did their own thing. As if Samsung took away their opportunity to gloat how Samsung copied Apple with the notch. Even though Apple wasn't the first with the notch. Lol. Honestly, if I was an Apple diehard, I would be incredibly grateful Samsung existed. It's Samsung's innovations, like their display tech (OLED and MicroLED), and battery tech (graphene batteries), that will help Apple keep the iPhone relevant among an ever increasing army of android phones, that just keep getting better a faster rate. Especially in the premium market that has pretty much plateaued.

How is the hole better?

Jeez, If you still can't see it after looking at that pic, then no point in trying to explaining anything to you. Enjoy that innovative notch.

Agree, the notch is awful but having nothing there is best. I'd rather have a little bezel to hide the sensors in than have a notch or a dot. The S9 was the way to go. I don't mind a little bezel if it's very minimal.

Yeah. Having a little bezel is best. It’s what I liked Samsung for, bucking the trend of coming up with mediocre at best solutions and just sticking with what is good.

Most, if not all, Apple users DGAF about what Samsung does or doesn't do. We just don't care. We're content with our iPhones.

I had a Galaxy S8 for several months and it was the worst phone I've ever had. I'm so, so glad to have an iPhone again. I'll never go back to Samsung.

I swear, outside this forum, I'm a barrel of laughs. To be honest, I respect all points of veiw, regardless of how wrong they are. :p

When you praise your iPhone hardware, like the display, you care what Samsung does. When you're happy your iPhone isn't even more expensive than it is, you care what Samsung does. Apple finally started using OLED only because Samsung brought the cost of OLED down where Apple found it acceptable to their level of greed for profits. So whether you like it or not, the iPhone as you see it today, exists in part, because of Samsung. Enjoy and be proud of the bullet proof Samsung tech you hold in your hands each day of your life. #gettechwoke

I don't care about Apple diehards or what they see or don't see. I'm not interested in an iPhone even a little bit from iOS being behind and the price being way too high so what they think means nothing to me. I like Android MUCH better and with the added festures ,Samsung is my phone choice....til they price themselves out of what I'm willing to spend. I'm not loyal to anyone except the Wife ;)
