I'm assuming that's the guy's camera, not the actual phone. Lol.Especially white screens, in comparison to iphone, flicker hell

That screen rolling you mentioned on white menu backgrounds is intefence from the camera setup he used.Especially white screens, in comparison to iphone, flicker hell
Any specific points in the video? Can't bear to watch 10 mins of pointless speed tests. Not to mention his voice makes me want to throw myself off a cliff. lolEspecially white screens, in comparison to iphone, flicker hell
I got to check s20, all even uktra and z flip are in stores here in czechia, but you know, having little toddler = no free time to visit storesI didn’t notice any flicker in person. I’m usually pretty sensitive to that sort of thing. However, I was kind of rushed because other people were around to see the phones, too. I was busy checking out the cameras and the size and feel of the phones. I didn’t even really get to check audio, dang it.
Grey didn’t look good under Best Buy lighting but I liked it anyway: Good solid neutral color. Lol, it was a phone colored phone! A nice Soviet era “We mean business, you soft capitalist pansy“ color.
I’m still going to party with pink, though! Unfortunately it was not there to see in person. There was only Fingerprint Black and Comrade Grey.
LOL! Love the descriptions. Also I love me some commie grey on a gadget, gives me them sweet manga/cyberpunk Ghost In The Shell sort of vibes. Hope they keep it for the Note!I didn’t notice any flicker in person. I’m usually pretty sensitive to that sort of thing. My local Three and EE store has them on request. Was set on S20, then seen them and S20+ took my attention. Now wavering towards Ultra but I don’t want camera really so still thinking non ultra. Just can’t decide if I want pocketable and more usable S20 or the bigger (slightly) more cumbersome screen S20+!those in uk are they in store anywhere? CPW for example?

My local O2 store has the regular and plus models but that was a couple of days ago, they may well have the ultra in by now though.those in uk are they in store anywhere? CPW for example?
I’m off work for the next 3 days so I’ll pop into town and see if I can see the ultra. I’m not interested in the other 2 but I could have a look for size comparisons. My local O2 store has the regular and plus models but that was a couple of days ago, they may well have the ultra in by now though.
I’d really only get to use a zoom like that on vacations. Since my husband is likely to get the Ultra I can use his phone if I see a dolphin swimming by. And I know from experience it’s hard to get those slippery dudes framed properly and photographed. If I were interested it'd be for the regular size, I'm kind of going off larger phones these days and find the more pocketable size of the 11 Pro more to my liking.
The cameras on most modern smartphones take more than decent enough photos for me so the extra cost involved for the ultra would be a waste. I appreciate what Samsung has done but its overkill for most outside this forum.
When I tested getting a portrait of my hand yesterday I got a very similar result on the S20 camera. And that’s on a phone missing the TOF sensor! My hand was in excellent focus and the background had a beautiful natural looking bokeh effect without any software manipulation that I could detect.I hope the cameras on the Ultra live up to all the hype!

And you can get £80 cashback if you pre order the Ultra from Carphone Warehouse. I've had cashback paid and free gifts delivered for phones I've returned as well.Heads up for those pre ordering in the UK. You can get £100 cashback via Quidco for pre ordering the S20 at Curry’s. Not 100% if that includes the S20+ & S20 Ultra, but I would think so.

No it's just the lens having a large apeture and a natural shallow depth of field. No software required. So impressive
Is the TOF making this look so good with the depth sensors?
