I think Flossy is more of an android guy.He does it more for clicks. He always has an iPhone in his pocket and can’t do without it....same with his Apple watch

I think he likes to keep an iPhone as well.Yeah you can tell With what he comes out with but you can tell he enjoys both platforms.

He's always spot on about the price of phones as well. That they're "too goddamn high". ?Yeah, I love Flossy, mostly for the entertainment value but he definitely is primarily an Android guy. He’s admittedly a huge Samsung fan and has professed his preference for them for years now.
He is definitely and Samsung guy! But he very upfront about itI think Flossy is more of an android guy.
Yeah I had a blotchy pink S8+ It also lagged like crazy for no apparent reason. My best friend has an S8+ even now and it works great for her. My husband and I got preorder laggy messes. She got hers late in the year when they worked out a lot of kinks with the displays. One thing I forgot to mention when I checked out the phones is the screen. Aside from them being much more flat, the colors were great to my eye. I set the phones to the "natural" color setting and they all looked the same as each other, and almost identical to my 11 Pro Max with TT disabled. Truly perfect. Nice neutral white and perfectly uniform screens. Whenever I've lined up three OLED iPhones together, each screen looked different. SMH at Apple.
In my experience Samsung turned a corner with the S9. My S8 had pink edges and I remember seeing variation in stores.
I hope Samsung doesn't let me down. The longest I've kept a Samsung phone is around 3-4 months. Things just seem different to me so far with the S20 series. It could also be I was very underwhelmed by Android 10 on the Pixel vs. Android Pie, and am slowly not caring as much about being 1st in line for Android updates or the top camera capability, or that "stock Android experience". Time will tell.
At any rate the decision may be taken out of my hands if my order status suddenly changes without warning. lol, I am hardly going to be upset about that. I have pretty solid reasons for choosing either. It’s all good.
Yeah it looks like my first order can be canceled. My second one for the Ultra can’t be processed until I complete the one for the S20 or cancel it.As of right now you can still cancel orders, although the free $185 in Samsung store credit has gone down to $150 for the S20+.
Here's my take on the Galaxy S20 cameras that I'll be putting on the website at some point:
- The S20 Ultra's autofocus is straight-up broken in the current firmware. But it's also 100% fixable with a patch.
- At 4x-10x, the Ultra's zoom is really good if there's enough light.
- The S20 Ultra's 108MP sensor is useful only in very specific situations but you don't get much additional detail at full-res.
- The main S20/S20+ sensor is great in almost all situations. Give this to me on every phone.
- Samsung still softens facial detail to a stupid degree
This is my sticking point, actually. Sure, give me a dozen cameras and plenty of versatility but if my daughter's face is a painting because I'm sitting indoors and she's not completely still, go back to the drawing board.
Google and Apple Figured this out already.
I'd really hoped that bigger sensors + Snapdragon 865 + improved computation would have fixed this by now, but nope.
Tldr these are really good cameras that are hugely improved over last year's phones, with one glaring flaw that affects people who take a lot of photos of people, mainly kids, indoors.
Also Single Take is almost good but all the videos have dumb songs attached to them.
On the camera side, maybe the S20 / S20 + is a better choice than the S20 Ultra. The IMX555 performs better than the 12MP HM1, 64MP and 108MP HM1 are consistent, and the low-light 8K video is better. Most importantly, the S20/20+ focus is far better On S20U
This is a bit disappointing for me. As much as I would like the zoom and 8K video recording, most of my pictures are of my kids. I have 26,926 pictures on my phone and 21,520 of those are of my kids. I will be keeping an eye on more reviews.Oh, so no samsung for me, like 99% of my photos are kids, no go...
Same here... will probably stay with superbuggy iosThis is a bit disappointing for me. As much as I would like the zoom and 8K video recording, most of my pictures are of my kids. I have 26,926 pictures on my phone and 21,520 of those are of my kids. I will be keeping an eye on more reviews.

It’s only one review. We have to wait for the rest. Most of the stuff I’ve seen on YouTube was only selfies. I rarely use the selfie camera but the skin tones and textures were fine. Need to see what the rear camera is like for taking pictures of people.Well yeah I think memories is what people want to take pics of the most...which is normally people
On my 2nd go around with the Note 10, burst mode has been a savior and I haven't had blurry pics. This is a bit disappointing for me. Thanks so much! Yeah I think I’ll enjoy having those extra megapixels. I did notice at Best Buy that focusing was a little fussy on ALL the models, compared to an iPhone, but not too bad if you tap to focus on your subject. It’s like the delay was it trying to figure out what your subject is. It didn’t seem to be a hardware problem. The patch hopefully already fixed this. It’s only one review.
