Shaping up to be an incredible upgrade.

I saw that too! Here is an article explaining more details

Mine is at the local sort facility in PHX...soon to loaded on a truck. Good thing I work from home! My office window faces the front of my house. So i should be able to see the truck pull up and swing the door open as the driver approaches lol

Haha same here. Also no overhead to say "get back to work" as I'm setting this phone up. Gonna set it up from scratch other than restoring text messages. Lol

the new display for LTPO does sound impressive but seen a few reports out there with overheating issues with exynos 2100...really hope this isn't the case
Yea I saw that myself, I thought they had fixed the Exynos and make it a lot better and more efficient.

I believe they also overclocked it. It’s faster than the Snapdragon in the speed tests I saw when functions tax the cpu. But once the gpu takes over then the Snapdragon model pulls ahead again. So far I hadn’t heard any negatives about the Exynos model. They got battery life increased to approximately match that of the Snapdragon model. But if they overclocked it to keep speed on a par or even exceed that of the Snapdragon, that would explain the heat. Maybe they can slow it down a bit with an update?

I'm not sure if it's related to the Exynos chip itself, but I did see this.

I ordered the S21+ yesterday and Samsung said ship by Feb 3...will be delivered tomorrow I just saw, can't wait!

I am a bit bummed that the newer OLED tech is reserved for the Ultra and not the Plus, I'd love some more battery life. But the (finally) flat screen sold me on the Plus, I've been waiting for Samsung to completely ditch curved screens on the S series for many years.

Received my Ultra today but for some reason I cannot get it to connect to Xfinity Mobile. The SIM card works just fine in the iPhone it came from, and has worked fine in previous iPhones and Android phones.

I get the notification that my number was activated successfully on the S21 during initial setup, and there are signal bars; but no data or calls/messaging ever work. I tried resetting network settings, updating the APN, and doing a full factory reset to no avail. I verified the SIM itself is ok because it worked just fine when transferred back to the iPhone.

Super disappointing initial impressions because of this issue, but the phone itself seems great and hopefully I'll be able to figure something out to get it to work.

My husband’s phone arrived two hours ago but he’s still working. He’s here, but working. It’s a good thing I’ve been busy, myself, so I don’t sneak the phone out! 😬 Seeing all the photos and videos in the last few minutes have me enthusiastic about the deep black finish on the S21 Ultra.

There was a short span of time I was disappointed the cool S21 colors like purple and pink and red aren’t available for the Ultra. But black and brown captured my attention quickly enough. I don’t usually get enthusiastic about black phones but in my opinion based on the videos and is really the best black since piano black on the iPhone.

I can’t wait for everyone to get their phones set up and post pictures and first impressions.

I’m eager to see the S21’s and S21 pluses, too.

I received my S21 today and am very impressed so far! I had some initial frustrations after being back on iOS for a year -- I sold my S8 and bought a refurb iPhone X last March -- but it's all coming back to me now. Once I replaced One UI launcher with Nova that fixed a lot of my frustrations.

This is the first device I've owned with the in screen fingerprint, and I'm not 100% sold on it yet. It sometimes tells me that I didn't touch it in the right place.

I had a huge shock when I saw an ad at the top of the Samsung weather app. Disabling customize ads got rid of it temporarily, but it came back. I'm still reeling from that experience. I purchased an unlocked phone to not deal with any bloat, and to have built-in bloat in the form of ads in stock apps is unacceptable! It's a nice looking app, too, if not for the huge ad at the top.
