I’ve just seen that the Exynos 2200 may not be very good battery wise, please say it isn’t true :( I don’t want to have to send the phone back. The fact that the S22 Ultra, is really a Note is perfect for me. I love the Note design and the SPen. I just hope the Exynos 2200 doesn’t ruin it!!!

Far too early to say, it’s possible s pen is using more power to cause a similar battery life experience.

Need retail software to judge and give it time. It won’t be any worse than s21 ultra I imagine

I’m sure it’ll still be enough battery to easily get through a day for most people.

A number of reasons, it voids any warranty over here and I shouldn’t have too. If the Exynos 2200 isn’t up to scratch Samsung shouldn’t use it.

Time will tell and I’ll wait until I get my hands on my S22 Ultra which should be here on the 25th.

What do you mean use them differently?
Be conscious of burn-in and take steps to avoid it. Don't spend hours in chat rooms with your keyboard burning into the screen. Don't spend hours on games. Switch from portrait to landscape often if you have the same thing on your screen for extended periods. Just be aware what causes screen burn-in and take steps to avoid doing those things for regular extended periods

Looks like the Exynos 2200 is getting slayed by the SD. Why do Samsung cripple their non-American phones like this?

Like i said before this year for the first time we getting SD so can't be happier.

There was a strong rumour that Samsung might ditch the Exynos 2200 this year globally but i think last minute decision changed things.

If the SD variant is compatible in your country and no problems with frequency bands i wouldn't careless about the warranty.

If you have concerns refer here...

Not sure what is going on it’s one report at the moment. Benchmarks appear Better on exynos and Tom the tech chap has far better results than what’s been reported

Standby time on Android has always been meh.

I've noticed this as well. Like many here, I've had both Android and iOS devices side by side for a number of years. Regardless of the make or model the iOS devices have consistently performed better in standby more as compared to Android devices.

Benchmarks are a funny fickle thing...they seemed to be used for bragging rights a lot of times. But really aren't good for much else.
My 13 Pm is supposed to be benchmark king over my Pixel 6 pro and S21 Ultra. But when I use these phones in my daily use, i don't notice a speed difference at all.
I really think benchmarks are overrated and stopped paying attention to them years ago.

I will wait and see, if the battery life is the same as my S21 Ultra, i will be happy with that. Considering it has the SPen inside. I wont be gaming or doing anything massively intensive, just things like drawing using Pen Up (which is a brilliant app on Samsung devices), documents, listening to music, WhatsApp, internet browsing, taking pictures and just general use.

I loved the Note 20 Ultra, but sent it back because of really bad battery life. I’m hoping this time around it’s improved a lot.

My Burgundy S22 Ultra should arrive on the 25th, i cant wait :)

I don't expect the battery to be bad, at least for me anyway.... And I never listen to any benchmarks. My P6P is also not highly rated but it's running smoothly for me and does everything perfectly... I'm not into any games on mobile phones so maybe that will be different for some...

At this point, it’s all overkill. Any flagship device as way more power than 99% of people need. The only real exception is those that do a lot of mobile gaming and even then it’s more about thermal control and preventing throttling more than anything else.

yep...i expect the S22 to be the same as the S21 battery wise anyway. Those sites that post all of these so called benchmarks are just looking for to drive traffic.
