i was trying to get away from all black phones this year....buuuut the S8 def looks better in black.I'm hoping in real life, those sensors aren't as gruesome.
Either way, I'm leaning black myself now that there's no hint of a blue.

I prefer white phones myself, but if the black one is going to look that slick, it'll be difficult to resist.
Sensors is something OEMs will have to learn to design around as we get more and more advanced front facing sensors.
Actually, one option for people that want an all black front with a non-black phone, is to get a glass screen protector for a black phone. I personally wouldn't do it, as it seems too much of a hack. But hey, it's an option.

Yeah they should have brought back coral blue.Wonder why no blue
Black looks the best
With no samsung logo in the front i am sure Verizon is trying to figure out how to put theirs on there.Any idea if this is a US model? Still not seeing a logo in front. Fingers crossed because that looks gorgeous.
They'll be a blue (coral?).Yeah they should have brought back coral blue.
I know it's not happening but it would be nice if Samsung released all the colors at once, so you don't have to get that ooh moment if you are an early adopter.
Don't. Do. This. To. Me.1000 fps slow motion video capture
Front Camera 8MP sensor that has auto-focus
Improved Iris Scanner
(The Galaxy S8 will also feature a 3.7-megapixel RGB camera sensor for iris scanning)
I'm hoping we can get a 1000 fps on 1080 resolution.

The rumor of the Samsung Galaxy S8's facial recognition abilities is becoming stronger with each passing day. Bloomberg is reporting that the South Korean smartphone maker's next smartphone will use that particular ability for securing mobile payments.
Samsung Galaxy S8 will use facial recognition for mobile payments....

At well Samsung pay would have to actually come to the U.K. And I don't think that's going to happen. Even India managed to get Samsung pay before we did so there's obviously a serious issue.Samsung Galaxy S8 will use facial recognition for mobile payments....

Same here in NZ but I get the feeling it's the banks dragging their feet here, that and a population of 4.5 million... oh well.......At well Samsung pay would have to actually come to the U.K. And I don't think that's going to happen. Nice! Let us know your thoughtsI know a Samsung rep and I should be able to get a look see at the S8 soon, maybe even before the LG 6 is up for display at Verizon stores.
Oooo
That memory latency referred to in the article...is that something remedied by throwing more RAM in? I read the Chinese S8's are getting 6GB. The rest of us get 4GB. I am not quite well versed enough in these things to know the significance of the difference.Exynos 8895 Geekbench Results, Not impressed as a previous s7 edge exynos owner.
I had Hoped they Would Come closer to the single core Performance of the iPhone, but No the gap is still very big. Multi Core Performance is Nice but Not Important on Android Phones, because they can Never use it in real life.
