Can you describe which features exactly?Sure but none was talking about the fact that Samsung have been the pioneer in modern Android phones, but the fact that some of their software features in this case the S Pen ones which we were discussing, were already introduced by LG at that time (2008).
From what I remember of Stylus pens back then, they worked on applying pressure on the resistive display, and did not have any sort of features other than being a more precise input.
Here's a basic one, did the Cookie know when you left your Stylus behind? Did it have multiple levels of pressure?
The technology that Samsung use with the SPen vs. a Stylus from WinMo and pre-Android says from what I remember is quite different.
I owned a Nokia 5800XpressMusic, that had two Stylus, one was a normal Stylus while the other was like a Guitar Pick, both required me to put pressure on the Resistive Display, the phone had no real awareness of the Stylus, until the Stylus touched the phone, while on a Samsung Galaxy Note device the Stylus acts as more than just a precision tool, and can interact with the phone before it touches the display. And even when it touches the display there are multiple levels of pressure it picks up. Further from this, the software extends the phones functionality to allow it to extract data from images etc ...
Did the LG Cookie one work in this way to?
