Second "full" day after a night time charge with the Z Flip 3. Battery worse than yesterday. Less than 4 hours SoT.

I was charged Friday too and even paid extra for upgraded shipping, and I still have nothing in MyChoice and my order page still says "ships by 8/27". Getting non-answers from T-Force too, "It's getting ready to ship, you'll receive a text when a label is created!" Kinda ticked off here, if I don't see a label by tomorrow I might just cancel and go buy it in-store Friday morning.

UPS MyChoice Showing Wednesday 8/25 by 7pm. In my experience, T-Mobile is usually pretty good about getting Samsungs to customers earlier than the street date. They never break street date on iPhones though. 😂
Oh yeah, Apple has deals with shippers to hold till launch day. I wish I was a patient person, this is driving me nuts lol
Really enjoying using this phone still. It's so satisfying to finish what you're doing on the phone and snap it shut. 😁
Also finding with me working today that the battery is holding up much better. But that's to be expected with less useage etc.
The outside screen is great for checking notifications and swiping any away that I don't need to interact with. So my complaint about it needing to be bigger is a little less of an issue than before. I still think it'd be nice in those instances I'm out and about or want to use Maps as being able to do a walk journey in a city without holding the phone open would be great. But few and far between I guess.
Also, forgot to mention on my review post but the brightness of the display is great. So much better than my iPhone and way better than the last gen. It's so nice using a screen this large and bright!
I have turned off 'vivd' mode for the screen though, as I always do with Samsung phones as I cannot stand their out of the box screen setting. 👀🤮

I actualy like the vivid display mode. Lol.
But I tweak it just a bit. I like my display on the cooler side. So this is my setting.
I get about 8 hours SOT on my mini but I don’t use power hungry apps. So that gives me full average day usage. And I’d have the option of the snap on battery pack if it ever comes down to needing more.
I’m waiting for the Z Flip to get dust resistance and by the time that’s sorted, I’m sure battery life will be, too, or increased processor efficiency might help out.
What really excites me is how fast Samsung has progressed with the foldables. It’s only generation 3 and this phone is already vastly improved and has sorted so many complaints!
I’ve just come from the article about Apple possibly not including a Touch ID option and it stuns me to see the difference between the two companies in how they pace their product development. I love iPhones, and appreciate how solid they are because Apple is careful and finicky about what features they put on an iPhone. But it can be frustrating enduring their trickle out of features.
And it’s a bit maddening how it feels, to me at least, that they take out or take away features faster than they add on. And I know and I feel it keenly that an iPhone is a phone that has gone through many layers of bean counters. That’s a feel that’s very specific to the Tim Cook era. And that’s fine. It’s meant Apple is rolling in the dough to experiment in other areas.
But it also means Android phones are more fun and often more innovative. And right now Samsung is leading the way on these foldables and it sure is exciting to see.
I wonder why everything made by Facebook/Zuckerberg is so battery intensive. I have a tracking number (ordered through verizon) but its only at the label created stage
Well I am miffed here in Malaysia normally we get them quick but both our Fold 3 and Flip 3 is not until 22nd of September delivery

Ordered through T-mobile I have a label-created tracking number too, which is not showing up in my UPS account but a rep was able to see it on her end. Label created 8/21, invoice page shows a ship date of 8/23, the order tracker page shows 8/27, and the app shows 8/26. No movement or updates so far. I can see the IMEI on my account, but every rep tells me something different. First one said I should expect it early. Second gave me the tracking # and said my basic black 128gb was backordered but would ship Monday. 3rd rep said it's scheduled to ship on Friday. I'm really frustrated at this point and will not be preordering from a carrier again. I never really expected to get it early but updates and consistent information would be nice.

I would take what the reps tell you with a grain of salt. I have had reps tell me exact opposite things just a few minutes apart in the past. Then later to learn they were both wrong! Keep checking your My UPS account. That is likely to be more accurate than a carrier rep imho
Yeah you have a good point there. I asked T-Force this morning, they said it shipped out today and should arrive on Thursday, and tracking will update this afternoon. They seem to be the most knowledgable T-mo reps so I guess I'll quit being Veruca Salt now ?

Mine shipped yesterday via UPS, out for delivery right now
They feel very well made, the clear doesn't feel flimsy and the silicone is very smooth with a hard inner shell. The strap can be adjusted and the ring is a removable piece with 2 plastic flaps that go inside the clear shell. Perfect spot for stickers haha. The modularity of these cases is getting my hopes up that we'll eventually see some 3rd party accessories like these -
