Huawei cannot put Google Play services on their phones and have no access to the Play Store. You get their alternatives but as far as I know not all apps are supported and of course the best apps, which are all made by Google - like Gmail, Maps, Photos, Docs, Authenticator etc. aren’t available.

Honor/Oppo/etc. are in a better situation but they’re still Chinese brands with all that supposes, like backdoors and spyware so the Chinese Communist Party can keep tabs on you.
Lol. Like the Chinese government give a toss about your smartphone data. It's your own govt you need to worry about.

They give a toss about everyone's data, you never know when it could come in handy.

As for my government - I live in Switzerland 🇨🇭. When it comes to living under a brutal dictatorship known for genocide and countless human rights abuses, it ain't it boss.

I work in security and take it from me that lots of companies - some who invest lots of money in security research - do not allow any Chinese phones on their corporate networks. For good reason.

Buy Apple or Samsung or Pixel or some other sane variant.

The flip-side of this argument is a foldable's outer screen is merely to do the basics and glance all notifications on the go.

If one wants to do serious business then UNFOLD to tablet form as it is designed for.
I think most people want to be able to type comfortably on their outer display without needing to unfold. And yes I know some people find the GF outer screen just fine for typing. But I feel most people find that keyboard cramped.

But I’m definitely picking up the Watch 6 Classic.. Samsung made the screen slightly larger. Seems kinda odd though… Watch 4 to 5 (46mm to 45mm) and Watch 5 to 6 (45mm to 47mm). But trade in for my Watch 4 Classic is $200.

That 47mm is tempting

Yup! I like having that bigger screen… if Google provided an option for a much larger Pixel Watch, I’ll definitely go for it. I’ll miss the rotating bezels on my Galaxy Watch… but I like how the OS looks on the Pixel Watch.

But I couldn’t do that 41mm on Pixel Watch, way too small for me.

Yep I agree it is way too small for that pixel watch... I actually just sold it... Debating if I want to add a Samsung watch since I'm always using my Apple Ultra

Really no need up upgrade from the 4 to 5. I compared to to my 4 and even with the $1K trade-in, still looking at $800+ tax.

I'm looking forward to the OnePlus Open in a month.

I know this thread isn't about watches, but I'm curious if the Watch 6 Classic will still have as good of battery as the 5 Pro since it's a smaller battery size.

I pre-ordered the Flip this time around, trading my S23U. Choose the Green Flip and picked the leather case for it. Will probably keep it naked most of the time, like I did with the Fold 2 and 3. This will be my first Flip.
I almost pulled the trigger on a Flip...they were going to give me $1000 for my S23U. That would make the Flip only $99...tempting. But I really love my S23U right now...
