surely that's a bug that needs reporting. Can't see any reason that would be intended behaviour
it has to be a bug....no other reason for it. Maybe it will part the Feb security updates this or next week.
Well I received my phone one day than expected to. I'm excited to check it out once I get it setup.
The only thing I really care about is the weight and easier to use, the S24 ultra is kinda wide and heavy.
I'm getting 400 hundred to upgrade with free pro 3s, I have the pro2 I can sell for maybe 50 bucks.
Don't know if it's worth it for 350.
I didn't do any trades in this time, maybe if the Fold 7 interests me.

I missed a feature at the Unpacked event that’s coming to the S25 (possibly the S24 range too). Antioxidant index, measuring them via the Samsung Smartwatch is my guess or maybe the ring? It’s to do with the beta carotene and nutrition advice according to Samsung.
Hello from Canada. With Trump's announcement of the 25% tariffs, I'm thinking of moving away from U.S. products, so I'm considering getting rid of my 16 Plus and my MacBook Air. I would like to know how it’s been going for those who received the S25 Ultra?

First night time shot I've taken on the phone, blown away by how it came out.
thats very cool... what were your intelligent optimisation settings? I noticed mine defaulted to maximum but with scene optimiser off so I'm in the process of messing with them and testing
Unlike my prior S24+ experience in the first few weeks, no GPS issues using Cyclemeter app with 25 Ultra out of the gate

iPhones and iPads are manufactured in many countries, including China, India, and Taiwan. Apple's MacBook Air is manufactured in China, Vietnam, and Thailand. Samsung has multiple semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the United States, including the Austin and Taylor fabs in Texas.

camera app - little square of 4 dots to the right of the zoom - settings cog - intelligent optimisation
just interested if yours is on max/med/min and if scene optimiser is on or off

I understand the sentiment towards US policy going forward but why punish yourself and make your life more difficult? Apple’s already got your money. Selling your already paid for hardware isn’t going to impact anyone but you and whomever you sell it to.Now if you’re just feeling an urge to move away from Apple products, those are both great phones. You’ll find plenty of fans of both, as well as Google’s Pixel devices (oops, sorry, another US product) in this subforum and we’ll all give you reasons why you should get our favorites. You’ll only get a true impression of them by going and getting some hands on time.
I understand your sentiments however the IPhone etc are still foreign imports mainly from China to the USA and most other countries
Better to stick with actual goods manufactured in US if that is your objective

My White ultra and case arrived today. Still setting it up but it feels much smaller in hand than expected (in a good way). Really liking this case too so far. Yes my screen protector is installed crooked a bit despite coming with an install tray.
