It looks very boxy, I prefer the current design. Will have to wait and see when it's announced in January.

It’s rounded corners but still looks boxy? It looks like the classic candy bar smartphone.

I look forward to having the shape of my 16PM only running One UI 7

Camera is way superior to the 16 Pro
Can I ask: in what ways? Is there one area the Samsung camera just has a huge lead? Most people prefer iPhone or Pixel, but I don't see a lot of people saying Samsung camera is tops. (Tops in lots of other categories for sure, just not hearing a lot of bragging about camera prowess.) DXOMARK currently has Pixel 9 Pro @ #2, iPP 16 @ #4, then a bunch more Pixels and iPhones, and S24U @ #28.

I just think the pictures it takes look sharper. I'm not a photographer by any means but take photos on my dog walks. This means I often have pictures of the same duck, same pylon, same tree etc taken with my 16 Pro, Ikon D5600 or S24U and the last ones just look that bit better.

i wouldn't use that site as proof of camera quailty to be fair. That said i think s24 ultra cameras are the only thing thats negative about it for me. processing from samsung just isn't very good to be honest and i would never buy the ultra based on camera. as somebody with a 3 year old it's just not dependable for moving objects and is the same issue year after year. you can get away with smaller sensor sizes if you get the processing and software right but i think samsung and even iphone aren't the best for that.

both iphone and samsung are way behind the best camera phones on the market. vivo, oppo, xiaomi

Pixel is still the the best camera in global markets but chinese brands do far have superior cameras.

As an overall phone though S24 ultra is great and still has some of the best software out there overall. same with iphone.

IME the specs are higher, but the end result is worse than pixel or iPhone as the processing is poor. If you spend ages setting the settings then you can get a decent image, but I have dogs and I need a point and shoot, which my S23+, then 24 Ultra failed at. Which is why I'm back on iPhone

I've got a dog too and to be honest that's why I bought a Nikon. All phones are rubbish at point and shoot to me: by the time you're ready the dog is doing something else

If the S25 Ultra doesn't impress me, I'm thinking about trading in my S24 Ultra and getting the pixel 9 Pro XL as me second phone. iPhone will always be my first phone, but I do like having a second phone to tinker about with and even having the different cameras.

By this point though you might as well wait for the pixel 10 series with TSMC chip. If you’re happy with your s24 ultra it will be similar for s25 ultra and one UI 7 will make it feel like a new phone when it finally arrives lol

That's a good point, I'm happy with my S24 Ultra. Be interesting to see what Google do with the Pixel 10 lineup, is it just going to be a kind small upgrade (the TSMC chip). The 9 lineup already had a redesign.

Sorry I'm confused. I thought TSMC already made the Qualcomm chip?

But I'm guessing it's designed by Google unless TSMC are moving into design which they haven't really done before.
Lol

Sorry but youre foolish to think TSMC cqn mqke such incredible chips for so many of their customers on so many different platforms to even giggly THINK they do NOt do design!

Remember its their equipment manufacturing process that offers x amount of performance and efficiencies that they MARKET & SELL to their customers to make deals to fabricate!

How else do YOU think theyd knkw that such ratings would work across various platforms and external chip designers?????!!

They fully collaborate id not recommend specifics to the design architecture for theie specific designers!!

How is this not obvious to everyone at this point is beyond me!

This is supposedly the actual S25 Ultra colors

If that blue color is available for the S24 and S24+ then Samsung MIGHT get to update from my beloved and trusty S24+. Blue is my favorite color and I actually envy the iPhone 16 blue color. So saturated and intense. It's an awesome color. Wish Samsung introduces intense colors in the S25 lineup.

I would love to have the blue with the black rails like in the picture. The more i read about the S25 Ultra the
more i want it.....

I'm hoping they do a red colour as their online exclusive, a red with those back rails would be nice.
